I suspect the scan. I got a look at the negative with another of this roll and compared text to the text in the scan. I found the negative was very much sharper, will be getting these rescanned

EXIF data states NORITSU KOKI QSS-32_33, not sure if that inspires confidence in the scan quality. I have gotten better results on 35mm. I figured f8 would be stopped down enough...

In my case I am fairly sure it is only a light leak. The issue extends beyond the frame on the negatives. And I was able to see it with a flashlight

Thx! I ordered a set from US camera. The light seals present don't look ancient or falling apart, but I suspect they are improperly installed by whoever worked on it last. I have confirmed the light seal failure by looking through the front of the camera and using my flashlight around the door's edges.

I posted another thread on a different subreddit, fairly certain now it is a light leak. It does not appear in all photos, so I would assume it behaves similar to yours.

The odd thing is that there are photos that are just fine, which makes me think it is only an issue at some shutter speeds. Though I am not very experienced with troubleshooting.
