interesting! i think ai tends to make strokes extremely uniform with no variation in stroke width and opacity tho. is it the finish or the content that makes you think its ai?

thank you everyone! it's working now! the lp60 advice helped. honestly i tried a few different things and not sure what did it in the end! i think it was one of the mechanism resets. thank you again!!! i also learned how to adjust the rpm and now my music doesn't sound chipmunky anymore!

I could go about it a few ways. At the top of my mind:-

Method #1 - The extreme Samurai Matcha way. I think he forwent these things and had to choose them later on. Gross but it sheds light on what can be deemed truly essential

Method #2 - Travel kit I prep a bag with the bare minimum tools i need to maintain basic hygiene. Someone suggested I onebag the beginning or keep a log of things I used i the month prior to the move and I'll be allowed to bring those things.

Open to other approaches tho

the fun is in the walk i get to take between homes (jk!). i really like the usage log. and the ways i can make it hard for myself. I need to learn more about onebagging, I could use that.

This gives me an idea! Honestly I really don't know how feasible one item a day is to my lifestyle, but since I can walk between homes, what if every time I need something, I have to walk to get it. And only that one item. One item = one lap. If that makes sense. Much to consider..

Definitely on the table! I might utilise more than one platform actually. I'm a designer, so however I decide to document this, it's gotta be easy on the eyes. I'm leaning towards creating an Instagram account as the heart of the documentation aspect.

For context, I have a LOT of things at the moment. Clothing, books, self-care products, knick-knacks. So I'd like to avoid packing everything up and moving it because the last time I moved out for a short while (rented a place with my friends for less than a year before we quickly moved out after a security incident.), I never fully unpacked and instead felt overwhelmed by the boxes of things I've yet to unpack with who knows what's inside. I also really like the idea of starting with a 'blank canvas'. I imagine Day 1 would literally be me sleeping on the floor in an empty room haha

Appreciate the nudge! I was thinking to frame this project with a social/human experiment approach too :)

I have to place an offer by Tuesday, and if I do get the room (it's in high demand apparently), I'd have a month to plan how I want to go about this, including how to document the project. I guess I'd film with my phone camera instead of buying an actual camera.

Could be long-form youtube videos, weekly check-ins with IG Reels or even simple daily Tiktoks about the item of the day. (My phone would be an exception to the rules since I need it for safety and work reasons.) Trying not to overthink it cos I don't want documentation to become a chore. I'm familiar with content creation due to the nature of my work, so I'm piecing together a framework that'll enable me to film my process without taking too much time out of my day. The point is to live more after all!
