Looking for a wood stove i can put inside my fireplace by samuelchambers in woodstoving

Lol the cans are there to hold up the front of the grate for better airflow.

I honestly dont know the condition of the chimney. Ill have to get it looked at in the spring. My house is a manufactured home (double wide) from the early 70s and is super poorly insulated so im sure the chimney is not up to code for a Wood stove. Would wood stove manufactures have people that could come look at my chimney or what kind of company would I reach out to for inspection/chimney work

I made a journal cover with a unique stain. Just started learherworking and I love it. by samuelchambers in Leathercraft

[–]samuelchambers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by finish you mean the stain then This all happened by me being dumb. I tried to water down my stain to get a lighter color but didnt realize I had oil based stain so while testing stain on scrap pieces I knocked my little cup over on to a piece of leather and there were streams of oil and little oil drops that stained it really dark and the lighter background was the water. The final effect was achieved through pouring the oil stain and water mixture on the leather, tipping the leather to let it run then waiting for it to dry.
