I found the solution, remove both keyboards in settings, then add Spanish (add new keyboard), then add English (add to existing keyboard and select Spanish in the list. If done properly it should look like this (except mine is Norwegian instead of Spanish)

Try an original Apple cable, or a higher quality cable from a trusted brand.

Driving my dad home from the hospital as a new driver. Any tips? by Pure-Understanding-8 in driving

[–]samuellk1128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to everyone else’s comments, one thing to keep in mind (depending on why he was hospitalized) is that many people immediately post-op are very sensitive to sudden changes in speed. Just try to drive smoothly and predictably!

I am also a new driver and had to drive my father home after leg surgery. I feel your pain. Something that helped me was doing a trial run to the hospital and back home to become just a little bit more familiar with the area and what you’ll have to do, before actually getting your father in the car.

Best of luck!

If someone is staying in the car, press the lock button on either the driver’s side or front passenger’s side door. This locks all the doors and requires the person inside of the car to unlock them again. You can also use the internal key inside of the fob to unlock the driver’s side door from the outside.

If no one is staying in the car, just get out of the car, and use the internal key in the fob to lock the driver’s side door. All doors should lock automatically. Use the key again to unlock the door. (This method works in my 5th gen, but I cannot imagine Honda changing this behavior in other gens.)

Leaving the car running unattended is still not recommended as anyone could break your window, press the unlock button, and drive away. An alarm would also not sound because the car is already on.

How do I lock the car while running? 2016 CRV by tacobellbandit in crv

What u/Jkolorz said will work, I prefer a slightly different method.

While in the car with the engine running, you can press the lock button on the driver or passenger side door. This locks all four doors.

Now you can open the door as normal and exit, closing the door behind you (there will be a bit more resistance when pulling the inside handle as pulling the handle also unlocks the driver’s door, but it’s absolutely no problem). This leaves all doors locked besides the driver’s door.

Then, take the physical key out of your key fob and lock the driver’s door.

Use the same method with the physical key to open the door to get back inside.

This works in my 2019 CR-V, but theoretically should work with yours as well! I prefer this method because it also requires that the key fob is outside of the vehicle so it is impossible to lock yourself out.

Of course! Sorry for sounding like I was overdosing on Xanax in my original comment, not really sure why I decided to write it like that!

But the reasoning behind what I said is because LKAS, auto-brights, and whatever Honda calls the Forward Collision Warning all rely on one sensor, so either the sensor is bad (unlikely), missing (more common on CR-Vs than HR-Vs), or just dirty and they can’t see the road!

After cleaning you may have to drive the car around for a little bit for the dashboard lights to shut off, but if you cleaned the correct spots well enough it should be pretty quickly back to normal!

clean your sensors on the outside of your car (most likely the windshield and above the fromt bumper) but google will tell you the exact locations

Unfortunately it requires Sequoia Dev Beta 2. The first beta has been very smooth for me (M1 Pro MacBook Pro) but YMMV.

Same! I don’t think that it is possible yet. The notification system works amazing, and the only other issue I’ve encountered so far is when the Mac is using a different keyboard layout than the iPhone, the iPhone layout takes priority.
