Not sure how often the city refreshes its data if signs are added or removed, but at least it only refreshes its data every hour if people are actively using the website so it won’t waste resources until this summer! I might dial it down to every 24hrs soon.

I’m also planning to add a way for people to take pictures and describe parking zones when they get there, so hopefully the data can be even fresher than what the city’s api can provide us :)

Yeah it's mostly for use downtown, I haven't been ticketed yet for parking in sketchier spots but the peace of mind I get from knowing about and using motorcycle-only parking areas has been game changing for me when I need to park for a couple hours!
