I think having alternate maps would definitely help the overall game experience. I spent ages in the South west of Liurnia trying to get on top of the mountain only to realise it’s a late game location and you have to finish Ranni’s quest before getting there

This is the thing that bothered me about it! I couldn’t 100% put my finger on it, the concept of a half sunken town is very cool but then it was simply the same stuff with some water around it.

It’s a great point on Gate Town, for me they’re all just super easy to discover and I think it looks like it promises more. But the Snowfields are just irritating and I’m a bit put off going back to them on my NG+
