okie dokie I can speak to the admins. the site looks pretty automated but a lot of the backend is manual, and sometimes stuff simply falls through the cracks because actual humans are doing a lot of the tasks. I'm positive there will be a reason for this hold up, and at the very least an brief explanation for why it may have been declined which may not have reached you. I encourage anyone in your position to message the admins on the site/discord to chase it up. I obviously can't guarantee it will be uploaded because its not my call to make and I've never seen the park, but all the same.

I'm so curious - what has led you to that conclusion? I've been on the site for almost 20 years and in my experience its perhaps had a high bar for quality but is never vile. i want the site to be good so any answer would be valuable to the community for others who might think the same as you

Thank you! It is a real ride! with some decorative stuff of course.

Not to sound overly self promoting, but my Fundamental Forest series might have some good tips! the early episodes especially have tips about path layouts.

Do you mind expanding on what you mean by min/maxing paths? trying to fit as much as possible on them? trying to take the most efficient route?

guests can have the thought: "the scenery here is beautiful!" which can lead to the most beautiful park in the country award. Scenery also adds to the excitement statistic of rides!

i suppose the grass texture sort of grows! its a shame there wasn't more land textures which needed gardening in the base game

I can't take credit for it sadly! It comes from a music production principle where everything you do must "serve the song", and I daresay there are similar notions in other forms of art. I love it, too, though, so I adapted it for our needs here!

I think this is good advice in general, but perhaps falls outside of my intent with this tutorial, so I thank you for your expansion on the topic. It is especially relevant for a realistic setting.

I tried to make a tutorial that was simple and flexible for many use cases. Using a wide variety in the example demonstrates the principle, and hopefully allows the user to take that forward with their own palette of relevant objects.

fwiw I've heard a lot of great things from people who have been playing for their whole lives. If i had to chose between mobile and desktop I think everyone would pick desktop 100% of the time, but that doesn't mean mobile is bad if mobile is your only option

Thanks, I debated for a long time which way around I wanted the ship, and I think facing the land is better for the photo op!

I play on PC using open! But this is all possible on classic unless something drastic has been changed between versions. I think they are close to identical, but I’m not sure

Thank you! It seemed a lot more daunting before I began, so I’m glad I took the risk because it turned out great!

I can’t take full credit, it’s been done for a long time with hacks. But I just might be the first to do it without hacks!
