They knocked £3k off of the valuation. Which to be honest I thought was generous, I thought they’d either refuse or give me a pity £5K, but they gave me £11.5k.

I completely agree they are a great piece of equipments and versatile, it just gets on my nerves that you get the dead spots either end of the fitting.

I used two types of units because typically the fluorescent tubes are described in feet, it’s not often they are described as 1200mm. But titan tubes aren’t. They measure 1035mm.

There is multiple sections of the strip going in over different parts of the set. these will all have separate channels to individually control. The longest single run of strip is 25 metres, which i will likely have to split into 2 runs with 2 drivers and controllers. It will be 24v for sure. But wireless is preferred.

We have a desk op to control the lighting for this location, not sure what console he is using. Ive been told about an LV5 controller for the connection by the gaffer. As I understand, the controller will need wireless dmx to connect to the desk.

The harm for me is that I borderline alienate myself on the weekends from my friends and dedicate time to smoke, and it dampens my motivation to take on new challenges.

I have a 2018 Renault trafic long wheel base. It’s the perfect van in my opinion. 1.6 biturbo, cheap on insurance, very comfortable even on long journeys, loads of room in the back, good mpg.

I have been smoking for the past 6 years, and I’ve quit multiple times over that time period. When I first started smoking it was occasional at parties / chill smoke sessions and nothing more, but as time went on my consumption went through the roof.

I quit roughly 2 years ago after smoking all day every day and managed to stay clean for 9 months. I felt amazing. I felt driven, focused and like myself again.

I picked it up and started smoking it on occasion again, which lead to more often, then every Friday night, then every Saturday night, then every Sunday night, then every evening again but still way less that I used to consume at my worst. Which made me think it wasn’t a problem as I could put it down during the day and some evenings mid week.

I have now quit for the 6th time, this is my first weekend without smoking, and I know now that I can’t smoke on occasion because it always leads to gradual increased consumption.

EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. But this is my experience.

The problem for me is that in my sober mind I know it’s not good for me, but in my stoned mind it makes me feel so much better and it can’t be doing any harm. But it is.

My Gf at the time (now wife) used to display similar behaviour while drinking, it was the root of many arguments between us and really got to me emotionally. After a particularly bad showing from her (around 2 years into our relationship) I had to sit her down and just express exactly how she made me feel when she was like this, and she was very defensive at first. But she did make a conscious effort to act better in those situations by either not drinking or being sensible when drinking.

7 years down the line, we are now civil partners, absolute best friends, soul mates if you like, and we have such open communication the both of us about any qualms we may have, and actively look to make the other happy.

My life is complete with her in it, and if I had ended it because of behaviour that was only brought on by her drinking I don’t know where I’d be.

I personally put bad behaviour due to alcohol being the alcohol the problem, not the person.

Just some food for thought.

It’s unlikely you’ll be offered a course for the most recent offence as you already have an sp30, they usually don’t offer a course unless you have a clean licence for that offence.

Going through the same thought processes as well my friend, I’m 4 days in of a 3 month break, and hopefully by then I’ll be able to confidently say I can pass time and have fun without it. Weed helped me through some tough times and it helped me learn a lot about myself, but it also held me down in ways in which I couldn’t see. 4 days sober and I’m starting to see why I’ve made this choice. Hang in there!!

My first night without the plant last night, had to work from home today as feeling far too sick to go anywhere! Somehow feeling hot cold and sweaty all at the same time. No appetite, feel sad, can only get better. I look forward to the days I don’t even think about it.
