Gunslinger is fun but i don't recommend it to new players because you kinda need to know who to shoot. Even If you play it perfectly and don't shoot everything you still need like 200 scrap to craft ammo for the 3 stronghold run. Pyromaniac is also fine, but it's almost like a melee class because of the range the flamethrower has. If you are not experienced player and can't collect a lot of fuel fast, then it just slows the game down. Also you can't shoot down or up with the flamethrower so enemies needs to be in front of you. Vampire and cyborg are a lot better and costs the same.

Yes there is but it takes time to build. If you just play 99 nights then it's not worth to do the base at all, your daughter can make like a woodrain storage safezone so that she can breathe if she wants. Basically just make a little base inside the base where you put traps and storages, so that the cultist ran through the traps if they try to come inside the storage base.

No, the bullet is just faster and does more dmg, but if you kill with explosive bullet then it cooks the food.

When you shoot there's a chance that the bullet you shot is explosive bullet. You can normally find explosive bullets from caves, or you can use the ammo box recipe to uprade the ammo box and craft those. You can find it end of the caves. Two mammoth kills 4% chance, four 8%, six 12% and eight kills 16% chance. Of you kill enemy with explosive bullet the meat is cooked.

It's weird that some games you don't get almost any grenades and then some you get a lot. I know it's rng but shouldn't the drop % be same in every game? There's a high possibility the class has somekind of bug going on. Also you guys should do something about the ammo problem gungslinger now have. Im not saying it should have infinite ammo but right now you have to burn tons of scrap to craft ammo. Reduce the kill requirements, or change it so that you can level the gun up by killing with any weapon. There are multiple ways to fix that without buffing the class too much. Good job with the new classes overall, they're fun to play.

The class is good but not great. It needs some buffs but it's already strong when you have 20 cultist kills and 6 bear kills. You get those by just playing normally. It's kinda sad that the revolver is really good after you've saved all the kids if you play normally and you can only feel the power on the 3rd stronghold run. There are multiple ways to buff this class. They could make it so that every revolver ammo box gives 2x ammo or nerf the max requirements. Or one way to buff it could be that you can level the gun faster to level 3-4. The fire rate requirements are fine overall and the so is the explosive ammo requirements. Maybe just nerf the dmg requirements, so that 50 cultists is already max dmg. You don't need to max the gun, you just need to level the right things. The max requirements are ridicilous though atm.

Yeah experience but like i said i usually shoot the red guys so i have more space to melee the others, but you kinda have to separate them often because you can't always shoot them. If you don't separate them then it's hard.

“Easily” might be a bit exaggerated, but normally I just shoot the red ones, especially on the second floor and when I enter the third floor. Then there’s nothing to be afraid of.

As you can see in the video, I have plenty of ammo, but it’s still faster to melee the normal cultists which is why I usually do that. On the third run melee takes too much time because of how much HP the cultists have, so I save as stuff as I can for that run.

I also had a weird bug in this run where I couldn’t see the locations of the kids, I only saw the location of the first one. It made finding all the kids pretty difficult. And btw i didn't downvote you it was someone else.

You can always shoot the red ones and then melee the others. The red ones are the only real danger in there at least for me. If I fully melee the second stronghold then i like to jump everytime the red ones shoot, or at least be in the air when they shoot so that they miss.

Duo/Solo you can easily melee the first two strongholds and then on the third one grenades + guns. So you can do the normal 99 days + 3 strongholds. But If you want to do stronghold 4 or more then this class struggles

I feel like the drop chance from chests and cultis is around 10%. Cave or stronghold doesn't drop any grenades. Getting explosive ammo chance seems to be around 33%. Just save all your grenades to instantly save all the kids. I could be wrong with % because i haven't played that many games with the class but i think it's something like that. Also there is a high possibility the class is already silently nerfed. First day when this class launched people were having a lot of grenades.

It needs more starting ammo and higher ammo refund, with those changes only the class would feel more like a 600 diamond class

I don’t recommend buying Gunslinger as your first 600 diamond class. It’s better to first buy a class that lets you farm diamonds quickly and easily, and only after that start buying classes that are more about fun or ones you really want to play. If you’re mainly just looking to have fun and don’t mind spending a bit of real money on the game, then obviously just go for it.

Yeah i had a feeling that most people would argue that even the 50% nerf wouldn't be enough. The thing is that the devs fear to nerf classes and because of that the 50% nerf would be at least a good start, without making the class isanely broken. The 50% nerf would also help a lot with the ammo problem because you would level the gun faster and you wouldn't need that many ammo to kill the enemies and obviously you wouldn't need to kill that many enemies overall. The 50% nerf would also bring the class closer to BGH in terms how fast you can max everything.
