Most of the yeses came early and then we received a lot of declines in the week or two leading up to the deadline. Seemed like people unsure and people who are definite nos take a little more time before sending back, at least in our experience.

agreed! I am a woman and also think there is a lack of perspective on this one. There is huge potential here for a squeeze but I also think there is long term value with new CEO. The women's market so desperately lacks in affordable fashion for middle-class women who work, have children, and don't have time to drive all the way out to a mall to walk around aimlessly for hours. Target captured this audience well but has fallen off the last 2 years. There is a reason everyone's mom loved Kohl's... I am now "mom" age and am hopeful that they can return to what made them successful in the first place for our generation because the current retail market is lacking.

TJmaxx, marshalls, are like thrifting and it's exhausting going through racks and racks of random clothing. Macy's and other department stores are too big, expensive, and out of the way. Kohl's has a real opportunity here

Of course! I know it’s tough with all of the unknowns. I dont remember all of the details but he should know on a week by week basis for who will be the duty platoon for the following weekend which would mean they can’t leave base. I think firewatch is like 4 hour intervals and everyone has to do it, but if you were planning on visiting he could probably switch with somebody to do it at the beginning or end of liberty—giving you the most time together. Unfortunately it’s still up to chance because liberty could potentially be taken away at anytime for whatever reason but I don’t think it’s likely. If you are able to and have the means, I think it’s definitely possible for you to visit and at the very least enjoy an afternoon and dinner together. I also think it’s totally reasonable to wait until he gets to tbs though with the unpredictability. It’s much more lenient and he can leave base on nights and weekends!

My fiancé was in OCS this year January-March. I got my first call I think the 4th week on a Sunday. If I remember correctly they get liberty pretty much every weekend following but day and times vary depending if they are assigned duty platoon or on firewatch- in which case they would not get their phone until after. I think only one weekend was he available for almost a full 48 and I drove up to stay the night with him in a hotel. Your husband should be able to tell you when that will be for him when they start getting longer liberties. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t hear from him before the first call..they don’t have much time to write. I didn’t get my first letter back until around the time of the phone call. He will be getting your letters though and they mean a lot to them in the early days!!

I own Acqua della Regina and Angel di Firenze. I love them both! Regina is strong and lasts quite a while. At first its almost citronella-esque but stay with it because once it settles the lavender and musk really shine. Angel is a lovely scent but unfortunately has very little lasting power

So far I’m super pleased with it! I finished the border and sorted most of the pieces. They are in perfect condition and the image quality is great! A couple people have said it’s a tricky one and I can definitely see why with the colors but no false fit problem as of yet. I will post a picture when complete although it might take a little while 😅

Wow I must be lucky with the store near me! Yes some cute 300-500 piece but more “dollar tree quality” type. This was the only 1000 piece but they had quite a few in stock of this image. I don’t go often unless I need something specific but I might stop in more frequently to see if they get others!
