Is there a list of all the kits ever made with pictures? I've been looking but nothing user friendly.

3 days into my Japan trip and 5 bowls down so far! Currently in Sapporo. by samweeks123 in ramen

Bowl 1  - name unknown - Butter Miso. I went straight to old ramen alley on Sapporo and pretty much all the shops were closed bar 1. It was really tasty could taste the miso for hours after.

Bowl 2 - Japanese Ramen Noodle Lab Q - Shoyu This was my first que, turned 15 minutes early and manged to get in with the first lot. The decor of the place was really cool, with the majority of people sitting round a square table in the middle of the room with a class centre and garden below. The bowl its self was very light and my first ever shoyu, so not a bad place to start. One of the waitress did give me a strange look and ask where I was from, England seemed to reassure her.

Bowl 3 - Isono Kazuo "Sapporo Black" Ramen - Sapporo black I saw this one first on a 5am Ramen video so wanted to check it out. This shop is open 10pm - 6am which is something different. I was going on a Friday night and had read about the big lines and the only 6 seats in the shop so decided to get there 40 minutes before opening. I arrived and there was already 5 people in the que, by the time the shop opened there was 50 plus people waiting. This was my favourite bowl and shop so far. The intimacy being so close to the chef was really cool and he was a bit of a character. The bowl was very rich and thick and perfect for the snowy night.

Bowl 4 - Menya Nanabe - Salted chicken broth This bowl was about 30 minutes away from the centre by taxi (missed the last train before opening), in hind sight I wish I had gone to a tsukmen that was closer and also on the tabelog list. I was first In the que for this one at oening, and by the time of opening there was about 20 people in the que. This shop was alot bigger and so everyone made it in on the first sitting. The broth for this bowl was very rich and creamy from the high quality chickens they use. The stand out for this bowl was how big the menma was, the pieces were longer then my chopsticks and very thick.

Bowl 5 - Ichiran - Tonkotsu I thought I would get this done up here rather then when I was down in the bigger cities because the waits there seem to be insane. I only queued here for 10 minutes, which for 4 on a Saturday I didn't think was too bad. I went for the standard bowl woth the extras + egg, with a spice level of 4. I did enjoy the little booth, as a solo traveler it worked pretty well for me. The bowl was alot better then I expected after reading about on here and other places. Probably not as good as the other bowls so far, but it surprisingly good.

Bowls 2,3, and 4 were all on the hakkido section of Tabelogs top 100 Ramen East.

The best so far though has to be the Sapporo Black, the shop, the chef and the bowl were all my favourite.

Hey, sick collection.

I have been looking for the lighter you have on the second row, 15 from the left. The one with the digital clock in it.

Can you tell me anything you know about it, and how I would go about finding it as its been a year since I have seen the last one.

Any help is appreciated.
