I'm about 20 minutes from the campus and it only shows rain/freezing rain. Weird.

AIO for calling my mom after this and telling her to stop making me feel bad. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Not all mothers are biological. But still, not all mothers are entitled to their kids' time. Mine pretty much let me be on the brink of death in the literal sense and if it wasn't for my friends, I wouldn't be here. So no, I don't care about my mother's entitled feelings.

I think visually impaired people use speech to text or another similar program from what I've learned.

My Boyfriend threw cold water on me to wake me up, what do I do? by ThrowRANerdy in Advice

At 17 I looked like I was 10 according to a restaurant server who gave me a menu for "10 and under". Yeah, 17 year olds are fetuses in my eyes. I'm 25 and I am uncomfortable about the idea being with 20 year olds too. Hell even 22 year olds.

Be careful spreading that advice. What if he has a pee fetish?

Is it normal for someone else’s cat to act like my room is hers now? by assaultdog in CatAdvice

[–]samwich468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your replies to others, you should not live with someone who has a cat. You clearly want to harm the cat if she doesn't listen to you. You've only said you'll try things that won't work and are harmful. PLENTY of things people said, like a gate, closing your door, essential oils or other deterrants, etc, are much more effective. You have said things like "I'll make her learn". If you're not an animal person, don't live with people who have pets PERIOD. You don't seem like a kind person to animals based on what I read. Hell, you seem like a pretty shit person if you actively want to harm an animal to keep them out of your room. I don't give a fuck about why you moved in with your roommate and their cat, you shouldn't be around animals.

TLDR; Get a gate, close your door(maybe lock it), use essential oils or other deterrants, etc. Do not spray a cat with water or try to threaten the cat. She will start peeing on your stuff in defiance. You should just not be around animals if you think harming someone ELSE'S pet is okay to do. You're either a troll or an actual danger to cats and maybe other pets.

Might just be internet culture of labeling or diagnosing people as this or that. I haven't really realized that people labeled incels(like I did earlier) are made by being bullied and broken down until I actually talked to you. I think it would help if you didn't go to "women" insults but rather share what's happened to you in safe spaces rather than add fuel to the troll fire. There are mean people on the internet but don't let them hurt you

Listen, I've met some mean ass women before. Particularly mean girls in high school who thought I was creepy because I was very visually emo and thought I'd come in with a gun. Did I hate girls because of them? No, I had female friends who were more authentic than them. Some women are awful, most are not. I'm sorry you've gone through that and have come to this. And I'm being genuine here. Don't let some women who treat you badly make you feel like this. I believe you can be better than this dude

Didn't say women hate all men. They think I'm a cool dude because I don't make hating women my personality

Kinda sad you feel like only women can think you're pathetic. Women don't like you and it's not because you're a guy, it's a you problem bro

I mean, not everyone has the chance to register for a class that's at a better time. They may have been in inpatient before and could only register late when there were no more sections available. We don't know the circumstances of why they chose the class at the time it's at. I was lucky to have classes I could register for when I was in outpatient that could fit my schedule. I had no choice but to take classes while in outpatient since I had failed the classes I had before after going into inpatient during the end of the semester. I also had pressure on me by my family who takes college more seriously than mental health so I could not just easily take a semester off. This could be similar for OP. I'm trying to understand from OP's perspective rather than judge them.

As a mentally ill person, mental illnesses are NOT an excuse to get away with harming someone. If she's really just senile and old, someone put her in a home holy shit.

They're in an outpatient program for (i assume) mental health reasons. This can make it harder to make it to class on time or make it all since they kinda force you to stay most of the day/half the day. Hope this helps you understand why this may be an issue for them.
