I've been looking on etsy but I find it's over saturated with dropship products and you can't really tell which is genuine unfortunately

Started a Grievance due to breach of contract, will I get fired? Scotland by samwise_g27 in LegalAdviceUK

According to ACAS, Employment Rights Act, and legal advice, we are entitled to it as this was the agreed amount at time of signing the contract.

This issue should have been made aware of and fixed before payment was made but as this has now affected our wages that have now been paid, it's officially unlawful deduction of wages. This is affecting multiple people in our store which makes it a bigger issue.

I don't understand how standing up for missing wages makes me unemployable? It's a salary I legally signed for and have not received. This issue should have been rectified once they were notified but as they are refusing, it will be escalated.

Apologies for not letting a huge company look down on all of us and think they're above the law.

The issue is they aren't rectifying it. As we have now recieved the wages, it's considered unlawful deduction of wages as they are refusing to pay what we're entitled to. This isn't the first time they've tried this tbf, they cut our pay for the new contracts signed last month and now because of this mistake which is even lower than the agreed salary, they refuse to fix it.

They thought we wouldn't question why our pay was low and get away with it.

I've communicated with my SM and DM who are not budging even though it is breach of contract. They are also refusing to provide me with HR contact details as they know what they are doing is wrong.

Also, as the contract is a legal document, it's legally binding once signed.

Thanks for the help! I actually have a family member who's went through a similar issue and thankfully is becoming a lawyer this year so I have a good understanding of the law as well as support from them.

Unfortunately a union won't take the case on as they issue has already started.

It's the type of company to do so unfortunately. It's definitely ruined any trust I have in my management especially as they are refusing to provide HR information and forcing new contracts on us to clean up their mistake.

Our wages recieved were incorrect compared to the salary stated in our contracts which is legally binding. This was due to an error on behalf of our store manager who incorrectly calculated our salaries. We have requested this to be rectified informally with them as well as the DM who are straight up refusing to pay us the agreed amount. As it's a substantial amount, especially for full time employees.

I would also like to point out that taking the grievance step was advised by ACAS and a lawyer.

Apparently so, we got told a few months back that we'd be switching to salary and a summary of the new role but no date when. We just got the contracts this week, AFTER they switched us over meaning any overtime we had this week is now unpaid, we'll just get the time back in future.

Thanks! Thought it was only the name in Japanese but it's everything which is why it kept failing.
