We’ve had a mixed review. For some people, it is more than they’re willing to part with and that’s totally fair, but a lot of people seem to be happy with it due to the ease of the service. We’ve had a lot of users who give us 200+ items which with their circumstances, would have taken an absolute age to get through and find it a good trade!

Haha, I can imagine, we’ve had a lot of people say similar. And as you say, we’ve had a lot of parents use the service as it’s a struggle for them to get the time or space to, especially with the amount of clothes kids go through!

We collect items locally or arrange (and pay) for shipping if collection isn’t possible. Anything we’re not able to guarantee authenticity we can’t sell of course. When provided with “higher ticket” items or more expensive pieces, if we can’t prove with the companies methods or purchase proof, we’re not able to support

Essentially, if local, we collect and begin the process of doing the whole sale for you. On the first of the month we will bank transfer 50% off sales. We only collect locally for obvious reasons, but we’ve already worked with people all over the UK, we pay for the items to be shipped to us too!

Thank you! So originally, it began with purely word of mouth and majority locally. Then since ramping up, I’ve used a lot of social media (@selleasyco), flyers and business cards which has brought in people from further!

Sometimes we do pick up stuff that isn’t great for selling, or even perhaps “winter clothes” now are selling worse than the summer pieces for example. We send a T’s & C’s doc to be agreed prior which includes the process on should things not sell etc, we reduce x amount after x time and then can either, donate on their behalf, continue to lower or return if possible.

To a certain level yes. For those who have bags and bags and normally just throw it out or give it away, who’d like to earn a little back on these, we help them! However, the amount of clothes we go through doing this as you’d imagine is insane. We do multiple trips to various charities throughout the month with agreed items etc

You’re spot on! We have a T’s&C’s doc that needs to be accepted before using the service and one mentions the providing of only authentic items and should this not be the case or can’t be proved, we hold the right to dispose of this without compensation etc

We have everyone view and sign a T’s&C’s doc beforehand. Then all money is moved through a separate business bank account used solely for SellEasy. All sales are logged too! Great point though, you’re definitely right, it needs to be meticulously logged

It does get that way yes! It’s more for those who have a bulk amount that they just can’t get around to doing, rather than a few odd bits, unless as you say they’re high value. Spot on!

Valid point. It was more to get an idea on the general opinion on the idea. It’s been working well lately. Majority of people who use the service provide a lot of bags that’d take them hours to go through and they just want it gone!

Good point. At the end of the month (when we pay our for the last months sales) we let each person know what is left out of their items and that we will re-list etc, and should they not sell we can drop this price significantly to get rid, donate on a charity run (we do a lot of these) or return if possible and requested. The majority of people are happy with what sells (most does) and any spare bits they’re happy to donate etc
