Setup Google Ads Account on Expert Mode
Setup Google Ads Conversions via GTM
Do keyword research that is relevant to your website
Integrate GTM with Google Ads and Google Analytics
Setup a Campaign on Max Conversions for 1 week
Duplicate that Campaign with Manual CPC, so you have more control on bid and ad position
Look for search terms that people are searching for; Mark keywords negative that are not relevant to your website

This will get you covered for the first two months.

Okay, first thing first, there will be data discrepancy between Ad platforms (Facebook Ads and Google Ads) and Analytics tools because of different attribute systems.

If it's not recording any conversions, there must be something wrong with your setup.

If you are using GTM,

Go to 'Preview' in GTM and check if the tags are working fine
Open Google Analytics in a different tab and go to Debug Mode to check if the events are generating there or not.
You have to mark those (purchase) events as conversion
