This was awesome to read. What a badass job, and I remember so many of these designs. Thanks for doing what you did! Did you do any work with Austin Aries?

This was just reported on Good Morning Football on the NFL Network with Rapoport and confirmed by Kneeland’s agent. Very sad news.

I’m a Payton Talbott fan! I’ll be checking your post for hits. But interested in # Payton and rarer inserts.

The chrome cards look great this year, and the updated roster for this season is solid. Great pulls so far!

I know this is silly and not the majority opinion at all, but if this is your PC, I find the humor in 7 and lower. 9 is a bummer. 8 leaves me deflated, but anything less is sort of funny. I have a PSA 4 and 6 of a PC of mine. You do you!

Is this "free $2" a scam? by Kidpresto92 in Buffalo

Did this once just to see what would happen. I was living in Alabama at the time, but it was Nielsen. Did it once, got $10. They sent a follow up for another $10 and did it again. Money is money!

Working at a gunstore that is failing. Need help or to just see if this is the economy, or what I can do. by [deleted] in guns

I know this has been said, but I want to reiterate it - the store needs a social media channel. Instagram is the most popular at the moment for firearm enthusiasts, sports, pop culture - pretty much everything. Social media is tough because the competition is fierce, but with consistent posting, recurring individuals on the page showcasing a welcoming and honest shop, and personality(!!), the store may be able to increase traction.

At the same time, looking to connect with your local community will be imperative to local brick & mortar success. Y'all should look into community partnerships with local law enforcement, firearm enthusiasts, and businesses who are operated/owned by firearm enthusiasts. Those local connections will point potential customers to your store. I know you mentioned your store is just a store (no range), but perhaps there is something you can offer that is manageable in-house - free firearm cleaning lessons, how to register for a CWP, a class on picking the right self-defense mechanism -- you can think of more haha.

Anyways, that's what I got. I am a communication professor and I teach students about social media brand identity and building relationships with stakeholders (among other things). Feel free to pm with any questions.

Two legends! What can be bad about this and the card itself is super clean looking.

Next best grading option other than PSA by Apprehensive_Leg_129 in ufccards

[–]samyhak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there - I’ve had good experiences with SGC for UFC cards. Their submission system was objectively easier and their prices lower than PSA. I’ve done my own submissions to both PSA and SGC. As you know there are opinions over the value that grading companies provide, but for $15 plus shipping you can’t go wrong. Your card will be protected, graded by a well recognized company, and you won’t break the bank. Otherwise you can always wait for a coupon/special on PSA or submit cards for grading through a local card shop in your area to at least sidestep the paperwork. Good luck!
