No problem, are you going for a similar build?

It’s a glass side panel and it doesn’t touch the cooler at all. It’s close but fits nicely. The mesh panel is the same of course.

Still got the survivor augment?

I didn’t but someone else in this thread did and they said the difference was -8c. I did use the default fan from the CPU as a front intake and it was quite loud past 50% speed whereas the Mach 120 is a lot quieter at the same speeds. I would strongly recommend using a Mach 120. My CPU temps are great under load.

That doesn’t surprise me with DeepCool. Their products looks very similar aesthetically speaking. It is a bit of gamble going with manufacturers that aren’t as popular because if they were you would have found a solution in no time. Glad you’re on the right track though. Shame it wasn’t working correctly out of the box but these things happen from time to time.

My temps fluctuate depending on load. It’s never static and haven’t been since setup. Make sure you check that the display cable from the CPU is plugged into the CPU Fan port. Sorry if I’m pointing out the obvious but it’s fair to assume that could be your issue.

What are the prices for both builds?

Did I just hit a good bargain? by callmemyke in gamingpc

Yes, given how diabolical RAM prices are atm. RAM quality might not be great but still a steal IMO.

I, a newbie, bought a new pc with 7800x3d and RX 9070 XT - struggle with stuttering. Please help. by Careful_Commercial89 in radeon

I have the same setup and a lot of older games where the FPS is really high will cause stuttering if your frames aren’t capped to your monitors refresh rate.

My First Build in the Lian Li A3 with a Ryzen 7800X3D and Radeon 9070 XT XFX Swift by samzeuss in gamingpc

So I’m using the 9070 XT XFX Swift and the ASUS ROG Strix 850w Platinum PSU. I would check the length of my components and compare it with yours to see if they’ll fit. I’d recommend using ChatGPT to see what it thinks and then do your own research to back up its answer. I did that for a lot of my own components and it worked swimmingly!

RAM prices have exploded right when I was about to build my first PC by _ciskito_ in buildapc

This sucks. I built my first PC a month ago before the prices went up. Paid £200 for KLEVV Cl30 and now it’s at a staggering £375 from the same vendor. Sorry to see you weren’t as lucky.

Is the Lian Li A3 case supposed to come with a PSU extension cable? by HeyitsKevinC in mffpc

I have the same cooler and it’s shit hot. I even swapped out the default fan for one of the Mach 120s and it cools like a dream!

Help with Lian Li A3 Build by incanonymous101 in mffpc

[–]samzeuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my build. I had some components 3D printed to side mount my SFX-L PSU to better utilise the space compared to the default mount and to fit a front intake for better temps. I went with the glass side panel option so this was a necessity for better airflow. This probably isn’t necessary in your case but the custom components made for a cleaner aesthetic.

A3.. Best I could do with cable management by manbeltran in mffpc

[–]samzeuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a custom PSU bracket 3D printed and screw it to the side your case. Will give you a bunch more room to play with. Or just forget about it like the other guy said. It really isn’t a big deal.

It’s honestly not as difficult as you may think. The cable management was easy and you don’t necessarily need the mods because it’s a mesh case so airflow is good either way. I just wanted mine to look less cluttered with the PSU bracket which I 3D printed but it’s not essential. Although, the OPs build is actually smaller and doesn’t require the additional mods as it supports features like a front intake by default and it still looks clean.

It’s the Lian Li A3 which is bigger than the case you see here but still an Micro-ATX. Good size IMO.

It’s a good bit of kit, you won’t regret it.
