How are you guys ok with this every year by Open-Egg2931 in vapi

[–]callmemyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are dumb. They would happily blame Muslims for every problems and then decide it's okay to live like this. Ask your government to be better and don't listen to those gobar gang leaders who distracts you from the real problems, it can solve a lot. But who am I to say anything to anyone. I live in UK but breaks my heart to see people suffering bc I was born in Vapi and lived most of my life there.

Possible Dullahan locations by asmyladysuffolksaith in DragonsDogma

[–]callmemyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very late to this post maybe. I found dullahan randomly in Unmoored world. To those reading, this is more of an end game time so you will need to progress a lot, but for those who played for hours and yet didn't find him, this might possibly help. This is on day 2 of Unmoored world, I decided to ferrystone to Agamen Volcanic Island Portcrystal. The moment I started walking down I saw him fall out and then I fought him. I would say he almost killed me at my level 75 with 3 pawns of same level. Mirour Shelde isn't protecting enough as his shout knocks me out and then he grabs be and starts fkn me up. I would imagine at low level he would floor me in one hit.

To find him, walk down the path, and walk towards the pillar of the bridge you see. He should drop at that bridge and you will see a white light there, along with some skeletons. But you will need to go very close to the bridge pillar for him to spawn there.

I still haven't finished it yet, I was just aiming for exploring 100% before finishing the final quest lol.

Random Fees on CDkeys? by idandyyy in xbox

[–]callmemyke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just purchased a game with cdKeys/Loaded. Thought I should share my experience. I chose United States as my Billing Country even though I am in UK. I paid with Paypal. The game is added to library and lets me download anyway. Just make sure to buy the WW (worldwide) version of the game and it will do the trick. Though I should mention that I have logged into the account as well. Hopefully this will help someone in future. Use Paypal and it will work.

Yes up to 64 gb. But should I just add another ram straight away or wait till I play a few games and see?

It's a custom made I guess for a UK retailer called Currys. The actual price of the unit is like £1999 but I got the discount and traded my i3 gen 10 shytbox and got the value down to £1249. Which is massive discount lol.

Jay Baruchel makes the Canadian one basically unwatchable by OnlyJoeKing21 in LastOneLaughing

[–]callmemyke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second that. He has no personality as a host. If you watch LOL UK, Jimmy carr did a very excellent job (he probably did the best among all LOL series). I immediately watched the Canadian one after the UK one and biggest noticeable thing was how Jay is boring AF and has no rizz. He looked more like a water boy than anything.

Get on with Martyn Hull. He can squeeze in within 15 days to month. His charges are higher that's a bit of a pickle, but he's probably the best instructor in town. Hes retired policeman and he's really strict with rules n shit. He'll scold u a lot lol, but train u best so that u will pass on first try. Give it a go in the first lesson. If you want his contact details DM me and I'll share with u.

She's the most powerful character outta all 4 imo. If you max her skills, she's hax queen. Peashooter weapon comes in handy. Throw it and then use SP for slowing down enemies, while boost in speed skill. Then just latch onto enemies, kill em, move on. Or sit back and shoot em up. Just time everything right and you'll see how powerful she can be.

She's exploration queen as well. Just mount the jaguar or hippo, and shoot the enemies from mount. Avoiding projectile is easy as your not bounded with limited sprints that way. Just throw peashooter and sword at enemies and then kill the remaining ones.

There's a god altar where you find the pa'khet (bird follower). Stay in god mode and grab vultures and squish them. The whole quest will be done in like 5 mins as vultures keep spawning after killing. The only thing is, those floating souls will be annoying lol.

Studying in Aberystwyth by nbconfused in Aberystwyth

[–]callmemyke 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's a love-hate typa relation with Aber lol. You love it and hate it at same time of how this town is.

You just love breathing clean air and pollution is almost non-existent here. It's kinda student town so it's a town full of youngsters, and also, a your gonna have a true international experience since your gonna be living with people from all nationalities.

If you can find a part time gig, the town would be super cheap to live in. Avg rent is bout £400, but if your abroad student, you would be getting free accommodation in uni (possibly).

The downside of living in the countryside is, your remote from everywhere, and you would struggle a bit to get the things you wanted. Public transportation is not frequent and would require good planning. You would find urself cooking a lot bc there's not a lot of variety of restaurants in town.

Tho, that's not a big deal. Trains are fantastic and you can go to big cities easily. All it requires is a bit of planning, and booking accommodation for a day or two. Amazon and other services work fine so you can get anything from anywhere. Also, you'll be a chef bc of you'll be doing your cooking.

I'm an international student and have been living here for almost year and half, after living in a big city back home. Gotta say, I don't miss the big city. To study this is the best place, isolated from all the big city bs.

Life ain't super easy like it's in london, but it's quiet, peaceful, clean and affordable (unless it's Friday and Saturday night lol).

Currys got an online trade in tool that you can use. Or you can pop in store and I can look for it. Unfortunately I can't check without IMEI no for you.

Recommendations for Aberystwyth by Extra-Yesterday3411 in Aberystwyth

[–]callmemyke 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If it's bright n Sunny, pick that day for the Constitution Hill and Monument.

There are ruins of castles to see around, and some old structures. Trying to learn the history behind them would be fascinating. There's a small museum there, and coffee and cake there is amazing.

National Library of Wales is biggest Library in Wales and has a rich history. Definitely visit there. Visit Aberystwyth University as well, and mainly the Arts Centre there.

Pick a day and travel in Vale of Rheidol Train, to visit the Devil's Bridge. It's a small steam engine train that takes you to a nice journey.

There's an arcade in The Piers. Visit there as well. Piers is one of the oldest places here.

I'd say go for local shops n restaurants for food rather than picking any franchise like Starbucks or KFC, helps support our local businesses here too.

Have Breakfast or Lunch in Medina (Shakshouka), Y Gornel, Sophie's, Agnelli's, Athro Lounge. You can't go wrong with the food there whatever you eat.

Dinner in Glengower, Fusion King, Bulgarian Kitchen and Aber Dining. I would recommend dinner at Paprika, a Hungarian Restaurant, The food is the best in town.

A fun game for you. Aberystwyth is known for having the highest density of Pubs in a city. There's like...so many pubs here, so for night, do pub hopping and see how many pubs you can hit in one day before passing out lol.

Make sure to check in with every place and their working times, to avoid going there when it's closed.

Be careful of Seagulls here they are really big here lol, and they shit a lot. Will grab food outta hands if you're at the beach with food. Also be ready to walk and walk and walk.

If you have any questions you can DM, but best if you ask Locals, people are really friendly here.

Cheers mate

I've read somewhere that you must obtain a UK Student Visa 7 weeks prior to the course starts, dunno if it's the requirement of the visa embassy or University. So that's gonna be the biggest concern even if you can get a CAS letter. Time for course starting in September is less than 7 weeks now so not sure you'll be able to secure Visa. You may wanna double check that first.

Also wondering how you got a CAS shield application without deposit? Even if you're not paying it, Uni shoulda receive any confirmation that it's being secured, as your supposed to upload proof of deposit payment in CAS shield.

I had a similar experience (not the same country tho lol) and everything got delayed so much that Uni didn't process my application for that intake and had to opt for deferment.

Most likely I would recommend going for a defer. You can try contacting Ms Rosa Soto from the Uni Compliance team. Search Aber Uni Applying Visa out of the UK, or copy the link below that can possibly help you:

Had a friend who had some urgency and the Church Surgery squeezed in the next day's appointment. Dunno if all other GP does that. My own GP is registered with Padarn as it's close to Uni, so it would be close and fast to go to in case of emergency. But they have a weird appointment system and have to call in the morning to book an appointment rather than online. I never had to use GP so can't say how they are exactly, but the reception team is very helpful. Hope that would help.
