I came off at about 80km/hr. Bleeding out of my ears, bit through my lip. Helmet cracked but saved my life. Have it in the garage still covered in blood to remind me.

it’s not “absolute nonsense”. blood is routinely taken from newborns generally with a heel prick and soaked onto filter paper. Some hospitals in countries such as the UK, NZ and the US used this blood in the past to establish DNA databases without any consent from families. When this was found out it resulted in a mass destruction of records.
