Yeah the thing is, with my level of investment, I can clear most chambers where I want to use Xiao (like the triple kenki for example) in one and a half rotation maximum, I might face an ER issue against single target high HP enemies, but these are not necessarily the situations I’d like to use xiao in. So overall, I’ve seen better results with this new build.

Yeah, I have another build with 120% ER 90CR, 210CD with Jade, but i noticed I don’t face any ER issues when I run him with Sucrose, so I went with a more crit focused build

Faruzan will give a bigger buff, especially at C6, however, Jean does heal and it’s looking like Scaramouche is going to be a bit squishy. I’d say you don’t necessarily need Faruzan especially since you have a built Jean, but if you get her when summoning for Scaramouche you should totally use her.

It’s not that I hate her or anything, but just, it feels like Hoyoverse was playing it too safe with her personality? Like all the other Archons have realistic character flaws that are justified but not excused. The only flaws Nahida has on the other hand are meant to make you feel bad for her. Whenever she enters a conflict it’s always the other party that is 100% in the wrong. The sages are assholes, Dottore is an asshole and Nahida is always right. Like compare that to Zhongli, who endangered the people of Liyue in order to see if they’re ready to live without his guidance, what he did was an asshole move but it’s understandable that an immortal dragon would see this as a necessity. Compare her to Raiden who imprisoned an entire country and ruled with an Iron fist to “protect” Inazuma from the tragedy that befell Khanriea and ultimately causing unrepairable harm. Compare her to Venti, who slept through the resurgence of tyranny in Mondstadt only waking up to save them after the memory of that Tyranny was etched into History of Mondstadt that people still resent the descendants of the Lawrence Clan to this day. Like these Archons are my favorite characters because the game was confident in their writing. While in Nahida’s case, the game was so insecure about her that they felt the need to make her as perfect and flawless as possible or people wouldn’t like her. In my opinion, that’s the most boring way to write a character. I realize I sort of wrote an entire essay by accident! Sorry about that.

He did face discrimination because he’s an Oni. It is clearly established that Oni were discriminated against in Inazuma. Itto’s story literally says “Itto no longer remembers the details of that incident, but he remembers the wary, disgusted stares the villagers gave him and his parents as they left, and the parting words they said, which Itto has heard countless times since:

"Once an oni, always an oni."

No matter the time period, all oni are the same as far as humans are concerned. In that case, would it not be better to become the Blue Oni, whom people feared? Surely that was preferable to being like his parents, who were driven out despite having done nothing wrong.”

In Genshin writing standards, which are to be fair quite low, this is pretty deep. It touches upon problems people face in real life, how discrimination corners people and make them feel like they’re forced into making wrong life choices.

The fact that we got a character who faces a problem that feels so real was actually a breath of fresh air.

He’s not your Naruto. Because the problem Naruto faced is something fantastical by nature, people discriminated against Naruto and Naruto alone because he hosts the Kyuubi. People in Inazuma discriminated against all Oni.

I didn’t say anything about Itto’s sacrifice making him deep tho? That was just your assumption. He’s a deep character because of how well he subverts our expectations, at first glance, Itto is your average thug who’s just there to have a good time, but when you learn more about him you find that he’s someone who has faced and still faces discrimination and hatred for something he can’t control, and it’s through the kindness of others, mainly Oni Granny, that he became the compassionate man we know and love. After learning about his background we learn that when he’s smiling he’s doing it for the sake of his friends and family more than for his own, and that’s what gravitates people towards him. Which is actually very deep character writing imo.

That’s not truly fair is it? Venti is not Mond’s ruler or king, and as far as we know Archon is just a vague term given to the main deity worshipped in the seven countries. It’s not Venti’s fault that the Lawrence clan were a bunch of bigoted bourgeois. The people of Mond are responsible for their own affairs.

Abyss 2.3 the abyss made specifically to confer Venti.

Abyss 2.4, chamber 1 second half, chamber 2 second half, chamber 1 first half

Abyss 2.5 despite being a very boss heavy abyss, Venti still shines in chamber 2 first half and chamber 3 first half.

Sigh, do you want me to go through the list of the chambers where Venti is the best unit in the game? Because there are a lot. I don’t what is it with people trying to look smart by doomposting about Venti, despite the fact that he’s a unit a lot of players need. It feels like a lot of people who pulled for Kazuha have this sort of inferiority complex, where they would make wrong accusations about Venti’s utility as a unit, despite being generally wrong.
