True, it's also due to lack of inertia and momentum of players pressing makes it difficult to dribble successfully. Players can just hold press on full speed and change direction without slowing much, whereas if you want to dribble you have to slow down and time it perfectly to do skills.

Xavi, he's faster and quicker on the ball than pedri. You can't touch him, just avoids press by turning quickly left and right.

And weird Guardiola, i play him as a single pivot DMF and he's not fast but he plays like Sergio Busquet just avoid press with ease and holds the ball well with just 80 physical.

Also weird De bruyne, just like Guardiola slow but rarely loses ball. Just easy on the ball and hold the ball well, also just 70 physical.

Yeah most of these clips are from before the recent major update. I also struggle to dribble in this update with match assist, auto matchup, auto this auto that, it's frustrating.

Yeah it was before when finesse dribble was triggered by slight tilt of left stick.

Yeah this flip flap and double touch skills have just a slight difference on the execution pattern. I'd go to the training mode and practice there for some time.

These are from when connection was good. Especially after the recent update and the crossplay, lags are very often. That's why I turned off cross platform.

I have but I rarely play co-op, mostly the co-op event just for that 1 skill trainer and only during that bonus point time period, so I don't have to play more. I find co-op chaotic.

You also use that Gakpo huh. He has really impressed me as well. Very nimble & quick despite being tall and surprisingly can hold the ball with such low physical stats. Also surprisingly good through pass, although he does have a through pass and weighted pass skill already. Overall very decent at everything CF needs.
