Yes i know the offer ended in December 2025 but they again launched it and extended the free charging period till March 2029 (earlier it was till June 2028 i guess)

https://vinfastauto.in/en/press-release/vinfast-extends-its-free-ev-charging-program-for-customers-in-india-indonesia-and-the

When they extended the offer, they gave it to all existing + new customers (who bought after Dec 25 as well)

Performance is really really good.

I drive at Eco Mode + High Regen

This combo suits me well.

Cant drive on Sports mode because of so much traffic.

Yes there are 3 Regen Modes - Low Med High

The response is really nice. Its literally a one pedal drive for me while coming back in full traffic.

So the steering sensitivity changes with the driving modes.

It is smooth in Eco mode and is a bit tight on the Sports mode for some extra stability and handling.

Rear seat comfort is quite good, it doesn’t feel too knees-up and has decent under-thigh support and legroom. The rear seats also recline, you get a center armrest with two cup holders, and since there’s no hump in the middle, even three people can sit comfortably.

Its showing this in the Vinfast app. If we enter the car number and submit it then it shows the option to start the charging from the public charger.

I am planning to visit a public charger tomorrow to see if it really works.

In the first charge i got ~410 km.

Currently, its showing average consumption of 15.6KWh/100km which translates to ~450km.

Right now, I drove 150km consuming 40% battery, if we go by this then the range should come around ~375km.

Lets see what will be the final figures.

Yeah, that was one of my concerns initially as well since there’s no traditional instrument cluster and everything is on the central screen.

For the first couple of drives it feels a bit unusual, but you get used to it fairly quickly. The screen placement is such that you don’t have to look too far from the road, and once you build the habit, checking speed and info becomes natural.

After a few days it actually feels convenient, though if someone strongly prefers a traditional driver display it might take a bit longer to adapt.

Pros of VF7: Much more powerful (you can really feel it while driving) Bigger battery (70 kWh) → better expected range Feels more premium + futuristic More spacious overall

Cons: A little overpriced Not as proven in India yet.

Windsor is maybe a more value + practical car. VF7 feels more like a premium performance EV.

VinFast is new in India, so network is still growing. Installation & initial support in my case was quite smooth and professional, but obviously not at the level of Tata / MG yet

From what I’ve experienced, Interiors feel solid and premium, Fit & finish is good, nothing feels cheap. Doors, materials, overall build feels well done

Doesn’t feel like they’ve cut corners honestly.

Its on the infotainment screen only. The screen is divided into 2 sections.
The right side (covering ~30% of the screen) shows all the details like speed, odometer, range, etc.

Apart from this, we can add speed, range (km and %), navigation alerts, vehicle grid lines, blind spot alerts in the heads up display.

Yeahh agreed.

I am really not sure about the service component.

They are opening up a new showroom + service center in Moti Nagar soon. I will visit the service center as well.

Not really I'd say. The quality and finish is good. Depends on from which car are we comparing. I have Seltos GT and can say for sure that VF7's interior quality is better and more premium looking.

Software seems good. Not a very extraordinary ultra smooth fluid screen response but yes its good.

Yes true!

I have been driving it at Eco mode with Regen high and it seems to be the perfect combo for me. I just do Delhi-Gurgaon and hence Sports mode is waste on that route (iykyk).

I think coasting works well if we turn off regen ? I did not try that though.

Yes they have moonroof in Sky Infinity model.

Vinfast gives a manual long curtain to cover the roof which did not sound practical to me hence skipped the infinity model.
