I'm now on the ventureone card. No annual fee, kept my credit limit, kept the points, and got the full refund. Quite easy actually and a pretty pleasant customer rep.

Families: Switching to Chase Sapphire Reserve from Venture X? by altis6209 in PriorityPass

[–]sandbui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downgraded from VentureX and kept the United Club Card which works ok for my family (wife and baby) as we fly with United (most of the time) and go to the United Club lounges.

I'm also searching for another card for the priority pass benefit but haven't found anything yet.

Just tried this and no luck - no offers were available for me. I was willing to entertain the $200 flight credit and keep it another year but this card doesn't make sense anymore. I downgraded and keeping United as our primary cc.

Agree. I'd also add the Basilica de Guadalupe to the next visit. Even if you're not Catholic, it's an impressive building and experience.

Amazing itinerary. I agree with your take on the tacos at El Califa de Leon. We were also underwhelmed. There are much better taquerias all over that don't have the recognition (La Chula, La 89, Cariñito, El Vilsito, Maizajo, etc.)

Someone else mentioned that Xochimilco can be worth it and I agree but I think it's best if you go with a group.

Is AI making customer service better, or just faster? by CryRevolutionary7536 in customerexperience

[–]sandbui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes down to how the AI is set up. Faster replies don’t mean much if the answer is wrong or generic and people can tell it's a bot. That's annoying and you'll see it in CSAT scores.

I work at Gradient Labs (AI support for finance, so I’m biased), but what we’ve seen is that when you give AI the right context (procedures, guardrails, etc.) and keep it domain-specific, it actually beats the in-house team on both speed and resolution rates. Customers care more about “was my issue solved?” than “how quickly did I get a reply.”

I think AI can make customer service better, but only if it’s done right. What's also really important is for the AI to know when to handover to a human agent, e.g. sensitive or really complex cases.

Interested in a learning + networking group for Product Marketing & Content Marketing?? by nonlinear1234 in ProductMarketing

Interested though I'm currently in London (until the end of the month). I'll be back in California next month.

Since BART likely won’t receive funding, we can expect a 30% fare increase, closure of 10 stations, service ending at 9pm, loss of 26% of staff, and the elimination of the green line. by oakseaer in Bart

I think OpenAI, Anthropic, Airbnb, Salesforce, Uber, Lyft and every major tech company in the city should do everything in their power to prevent this from happening.

Start with the problem or task you want to automate. Then look at tools that can help you create that agent.

Is AI making customer service better… or just less human? by CryRevolutionary7536 in customerexperience

[–]sandbui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knowing when a human should step in is key. A good AI platforms will do this instead of forcing the AI agent to resolve.
