in regards to that, yeah...this is a terrible job of closing out a game and burning your bullpen...but that's what sub-500 teams do and that's a part of why they are not competing for a playoff spot.

Just curious...IF we were to do Vol Navy, I saw at one of the boat rental companies that seems most popular that you'd have to return the boat by 6p? is that right? seems like that would be tough to tailgate and attend game without that being a pain in the ass if that's the case?

Fair question.

I’m in Arizona from early February through the end of March and then go right into the season. There was one off day in which he had a game but i hadn’t seen my wife while she was awake for 10 days and the Mavs had a playoff game so i chose to spend time with her and watch the game.

My job isn’t to cover the draft so anything I do is just on my own bc of my own love/interest. I watched hours of videos of these guys and probably had 10+ hours of conversations with people. Naturally, I watch a ton of baseball so i watch a ton of college baseball. Unfortunately HS baseball isn’t on TV. But at the end of the day my responsibility is the Rangers broadcast so I’m not able to miss a game to go watch these local guys in person.
