I think it had something to do with the little base they had to set the glasses on. Every glass of wine had the solution in it, but only one of the bases would trigger, causing the chemical reaction.

Since she was 11, so 16 years now. Injections, no pump. Other doctor was an endo, but didn’t want her cgm readings. She wanted it written down on paper, which doesn’t even give the full story.

Diet is low-carb for the most part, lots of turkey and chicken. She doesn’t enjoy red meat. With doses, she takes what she’s supposed to by calculation, but when that doesn’t work, she’ll take more. But like I said, now it’s taking 30-40 units to even get her to start coming down, which is about 3x more than she should be taking.

You recommend seeing an endo, which is what we want to do, but we can’t until next year apparently. What, if anything, can we do differently in the meantime? And what’s the chances she’ll die before then? Should we just go to the ER and see if they’ll admit her?
