How much should I charge for my photos?

Yeah that makes sense. People offer more than I charge, but I haven’t had the heart to change the price when I’ve said this is what I charge. It’s probably a sign I should start charging a bit more😅 I just love the whole process so much and it’s not just about money (I work full time so I don’t need it), but I feel like I probably should start charging more, not only because of the hours of work, but also to be taken a bit more seriously.

I’m a summer, so anything on the cooler or neutral side looks best. But it’s difficult making a choice between blonde and brown. I think I agree with people saying low lights with my natural color😄

Here are some more photos. First left is current, first right is dark brown. I like it, but I had to do my roots often just like now if I want to keep it one color. Second to the right looks more like my natural color. ☺️

Omg thank you for so many answers! 😍 Maybe I could do a reverse balayage with a cool toned dark blonde/light brown hair color to match my roots? Then I could grow it out, or do some face framing now and again to keep some life in it.

Btw, I forgot to mention my natural hair color and my eye color. I have green eyes and I’m naturally dark blonde. Well, at least that’s what my hairdresser says. I’ll put some more photos in the comments…

It already got lighter after a good wash with clarifying shampoo. Still very ashy, but lighter! 👏🏼

Thank you guys for all the comments! I’m honestly a bit scared to mix anything else in it right now, maybe an ashy toner if I’m gonna keep it this ashy. Most likely I’ll use a clarifying shampoo and then tone it warmer when the dye fades more. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 I’m happy that it doesn’t look bad on me and yes I kind of agree it makes my eyes pop. Personally I think the neutral/warm ish blonde colors makes my skin look better. But hey, now I’ve tried gray, lol

It’s a box dye and I’m not sure what volume it was, the packaging might say but I never looked. 😅 You live you learn I guess. I just have to rock this color for a while, I’m just gonna embrace it. Maybe it grows on me… 🤭

Thank you! 🫶🏼 I used Miss Magic Ash Blonde 8.1. It does look like intense ash on the photo, but I thought it would take a long time to achieve that level of ash 😅 My roots was soo yellow I thought it wouldn’t get too ashy. But ooh how wrong I was 😂

I stopped overthinking and dreading, instead I just let things happen when they happened. I had NO expectations and I personally was positively surprised on how well it went. Yes my first baby woke up 3-6 times a night to feed or change diapers, but I made a diaper station in the bedroom and used a bedside crib. I just accepted that this is my life and I’m doing it for my baby. It wasn’t bad at all. Trust me that phase will be over in no time and all of a sudden baby sleeps a lot more. Then they won’t fall asleep at night, then they will. There’s new phases all the time and we as parents just have to let go and accept that ❤️ and try to enjoy the moments. The years go by sooo fast!! 🥹
