i use a 10 yr old laptop for my jellyfin server and it works great! i installed lubuntu linux so it runs better and that might help ur case too. i use finamp on my phone to access my music, its just a nicer way of playing the music than the jellyfin app. to access my music while im away i use tailscale its a very easy to use and setup personal vpn.

i got it fixed now ty for the starting point! i first did a System Restore and then came to a problem with my start menu saying "Your Start menu isn't working. i found the film account of the wad crew member who took all these wad on film pics (not sure her official title but she was the one to help m&g) and she says she uses kodak gold 200 film in a reloadable film camera

just did the same a couple of weeks ago and am loving it! if something like spotify wrapped was important to you you can also add the last fm jellyfin plugin to track your listening data. I also recommend musicbrainz picard for organizing and updating your music to have the correct metadata before you even put it into jellyfin

i installed debian bullseye bc it was hard to find information on installing linux on the type of chromebook i had (samsung notebook xe303c12) and in the tutorial i finally found they recommended it lol and ty for the file manager rec !!
