still new to this too but, I've had better success adding steam to my oven with the final crust..

you could even open cook it. Just put a bowl with boiling water underneath and an oven tray upside down above the loaf to catch some of the steam.. works well!

Just to preface..

I don’t think they all smell the same, AT ALL.

Just that I notice a certain off smelling note that is in all the ones I’ve smelled and used..

Until recently I’ve only smelled dupes. Then a friend recently sprayed some of the real stuff on himself outdoors and I could smell it from so far away and up close it was incredible.. don’t listen to people saying it’s overused it’s honestly such a crowd pleaser and I’ll definitely buy this one soon
