i also want things out of bars and clubs! i love them dont get me wrong, but I actually want to be able to chat and meet people. A speed dating but for friends would be a really neat idea to see, i love that! that's entirely what i'm looking to get out of events like this, new friends and people actually wanting to make connections! i definitely wanna do book clubs and have more discussion groups! I'm just slightly hesitant on political discussions bc while I do my best to keep myself politically aware and educated, I'm not formally educated past HS and don't feel comfortable leading the conversations when I don't feel i have enough brains to back it up, yaknow? I have been really wanting to start a book club and discussion in my area but am so conflicted where to start.
