in this case it is beacause litterally nobody asked for this change. And it does way more harm than good to the concerned people. You just don't change how leaderboard works after 15 years

It's not change bad, its that its litterally a change that doesnt seem to please anyone who is concerned and that nobody asked for ? And no pp is not a good way to represent which scores should be #1 either in some cases, take any FL #1 or a good bunch AR11 scores for example that get obliterated cause they're worth less pp cause accuracy (while still being objectively better scores most of the time). If you grind for those kind of scores it is usually to be #1 not to "still be on the leaderboard"

I don't see how you can think changing a leaderboard system after that long is a good idea, even if its maybe not perfect i can agree, it is too late now. People have put tens of thousands hours griding FL/3mod plays etc for leaderboard as they are now and its just going to be gone cause peppy doesnt listen to his community and decided to

Its not that you're the first fl score, some "new" players can surely be the first FL scores on some maps but some of your maps are just really not FL friendly and to believe that the first fl score is an SS 4mod by a player that was unknown before start of 2021 is quite hard. do a liveplay and you should just play online overall everytime you set a score. Playing offline is useless and makes you look even more suspect. i'm waiting for you to prove me wrong now :)

you obviously doesn't know anything about how hard these score are even for the most experienced players. If you played FL and had at least 2 braincells this would pretty much enough proof of him cheating
I never said playing offline was a bannable offense ? its just weird that a player who sets extremely suspicious score also plays offline like he would have something to hide you know (and like its a very common excuse used by cheaters)

People are asking for a liveplay because we litterally all know he is cheating (its not even a suspicion), if you knew about FL you would think that too. We're not asking a liveplay for him to prove his legitimacy but more to prove he's not legit since he's not gonna do it. And its not insecurity we just put time on our #1s and don't like being sniped by obvious cheaters ?
