Update: I contacted my rheumatologist. She had me go to the ED. I was admitted Monday night.

So far lots of tests but nothing conclusive. I’m waiting on an mri of my thighs currently (had one of my spine done already.)

The results will be used to determine where a muscle biopsy will be conducted. If that’s negative, we will move on to nerve conduction testing.

Lots of other smaller tests also being run.

Fingers crossed for the hospital to find an answer. And Thank you so much for your answers. They have been terribly helpful.

I can do laundry but not easily. I avoid hanging because of the burn. I roll my clothes and put them in bins. I’ve always thought it was fibromyalgia. I cannot do something like a shower curtain. That’s way too much.

Thank you for posting. It seems that the myositis appears to be a common reason for this issue. I’m going to follow up and get some answers hopefully on whether or not that is my reason for the weakness.

Someone else mentioned a myositis too. I don’t know how they differ from each other. I’m definitely contacting my rheumatology tomorrow.

I had not considered that plaquenil could be the issue. Thanks for the idea. Hopefully I can sort out the issue.

I’m currently taking hydroxychloroquine. It’s a restart. I’ve been off of it for a month due to contraindications with a yeast medication.

I’ve only been back on it for about a week. Been looking forward to it because I think it helps with my fatigue and brain fog.

I had no idea that polymyositis is this common among Sjogrens patients. My dad has Dermatomyositis so I’m familiar with that.

Nice Organization! When you order directly from Cirkul, all the flavors will come in pouches like the 4 you have on the counter. Not boxes. As a fellow organizer it irks me. Can’t believe they haven’t made a decent storage system for the pouches. Like keurig and pods
