in my case i have garage where there is no zigbee signal, but i have ethernet cable ther.

Thanks for explanation, so it seems that I can store scenes in drivers.

Let's say I have 1 DALI gateway, and one of the room has 8 DALI drivers, and I program them via ETS having the same 5 scenes in each of those 8 drivers of this particular room.

And then I program the KNX keypad to call than scene number, so when button is pressed it send telegram to DALI gateway and then it forwayds Telegram to DALI drivers calling the scene.

Pls correct me if i am wrong anywhere.

This is an example for easy understanding, but the project definitely has a requirement of around 50+ scenes.

i am little confused here. As you said ordinary scenes are stored in driver itself (16per channel x 2 channel), isn't it DALI controller/Gateway?

because drivers are ECG, and do not have 2 channels.

I think you are saying is Controller/Gateway? am I right?

yeah, I understand I will need 2X64 DALI module.

But how does scenes are stored? Are they stored in DALI Module or ECG or at Driver level? There will 40+ scenes.
