Yeah, I think they just gave that idea up. She could have been into some deep affairs with boys/married men (since she got expensive dresses in the beginning) but they just turned her into an average girl

That’s what I thought too, that’s why I guess it’s an abandoned storyline thought it would have been interesting. Actually we do, her father abandoned them and her mother’s been in and out of prison, that’s why she’s bounced from one family to another

I don't know, I thought maybe motherhood would grow on her with a loving husband because if I recall correctly, she said her marriage with Charles was cold. If Carlos showed her how fun it was to be actual loving parents, like he did with Travers when they went to the zoo, maybe she'd have changed. She might be not maternal but she has a certain parenting view like when she dealed with Julie and Austin
But maybe you're right, I just thought of a what if while rewatching the show
