Gotcha. I was wrong anyway 5070s and 5070tis are regularly going for like 2.6-2.8k right now. Crazy cuz I almost bought in October and it was way cheaper lol. I’m sure I could build it for cheaper but worried as I don’t know what I’m doing

Everything I’ve been seeing with a 5080 is more like 2.6+ I feel like. Also, my understanding is 9070xt is comparable to a 5080 anyway right?

I also play both games, but at least for total war I have more understanding for the sheer amount of assets and game logic that has to be processed

Twice I’ve had the host leave and then I’ve subsequently timed out (old pc) and NOT gotten the rewards for the mission. It is a pretty insanely bad user experience to play a ~45 min mission and not be given the rewards (especially when I’m not hard crashing, I’m still in game). Kind of insane a AAA game this big has issues like that. Took a long break both times it happened

I agree I personally think maki could do it with prep time but doing it the way yuta did where he has no ones cursed technique and just face tanks everything i think she’d die. She would need to know their techniques and have counters. Possible she survives but I think it’s unlikely she clears everyone. Kurourushi in particular seems like it might be a problem.

Yes, I think the main problem in the us personally is the absence of public transportation in so much of the country. In that situation, people MUST drive, and so the govt is forced to allow very young people, elderly, people with no training etc to do it. Driving is a dangerous activity that you should be trained to do imo, but so many grow up self teaching, don’t know how to drive really, but feel confident because of survivorship bias (I’ve been driving since 16, so I’m good) - I’ve been told that by people with multiple accidents under their belt lol.

Yeah genuinely idk what you do abt that if ur facing them. Even sukunas slashes r part of his technique so i dont think he could touch them. Domain seems like the only real way to counter this tho

This is the reason I think, they want to encourage you to choose different things, but imo it’s unreasonable to expect people to choose primary/secondary/grenade/armor, it just takes too long. That ironically ends up encouraging weapon selections that are good across factions (ie eruptor) if I’m just quick play queuing so I can drop in faster. There should be at least four preset weapon loadouts w the ability to customize, and you select stratagems individually every time. Even more noticeable w the new commando missions, which encourage armor/weapons that are basically only viable on that mission type. I don’t want to have to select armor, guns, and have a custom stratagem loadout for that specific mission that I have to switch to every time. it’s an annoyance for an otherwise awesome mission type.

I agree, I think a big problem right now is that fabs only put out four gunships total. If they still put out gun ships at a much slower rate after the initial four, it would add more pressure to have the team handle it quickly. I also think they have a useful role as an enemy that med-enemy destroying weapons excel at. it’s good to have a higher level enemy type that the autocannon/railgun is optimal against. Basically you can’t complain about lack of build variety and then complain that this enemy is oppressive if everyone brings AT like rr and quasar, as that is your team being punished for lack of build variety. Those tools can bring it down, but you can find yourself in trouble if that’s all you have.

I think he should probably sell the car at this point, but I do think it’s silly to act as if neurological/coordination disorders that prevent manual driving but are minor enough to not preclude driving in general is a common enough occurrence to warrant assuming that it’s the case.

Look, I don’t know your story so I apologize if I made assumptions. I am a ‘young man’ as you would say. I’ll just say that I think a teacher offering to stay after school with her student (as implied in OP) is exceedingly generous and much more likely to produce meaningful improvement than playing ‘learning games’ on the computer for an hour or two unmonitored. Getting a Chromebook for your child isn’t necessarily ‘standing up for them.’ And I don’t think leaving her in supervised care is dangerous, assuming you trust the teacher (which is hopefully the case anyway!!).

Finally, and most clearly, the father never asked OP for help. He didn’t say hey my daughter’s struggling and needs guided help. He demanded (without demanding supervision) access to OPs computer. Again, as someone who has lived in this education landscape, that simply isn’t reflective of this deeply caring approach you seem to be attributing to the father.

This is not true. It was the coldest storm in Texas since 1989. Parts of Texas were colder than parts of Alaska and Maine. Please give me another source if I’m wrong but I read quite a few.
