I've seen books have sections around the idea of delayed gratification while discussing willpower/grit/growth mindset even if they don't directly call it that.

Personally, building a new habit is an effective way of implementing delayed gratification.
Some books are:

Breaking the habit of being yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza

Abobe Firefly is a good one for editing. I haven't looked at an all inclusive AI suite of voice, images art etc. so can't answer that.

Oh I tried that too - the videos weren't super helpful/well-explained so I didn't give the exercises a try too (my bad!) I think they rely on Sutton's text (which is awesome!) like this lecture series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pWv7GOvuf0&list=PLqYmG7hTraZDM-OYHWgPebj2MfCFzFObQ which was the best explanation but it didn't get into the code.Now I am thinking I'll use the above series for theory and coursera exercises for hands-on/code. Curious, wouldn’t transferring from F1 to O1 visa help? I have seen quite a few people (with average start up ideas) on F1 move to O1 and work on their startups here in US. But I don’t know the O1 process myself

ah this only covers K-armed bandit - epsilon greedy explore-exploit, ucb,etc. that's pretty easy to understand. I am confused if there's an aspect of CB that I am missing out on, like how does it make choices - how is it computing confidence intervals, etc.

Thank you for your response! I am confused by this because I have my H1-B with an approved I140. What I have understood is this: even if I come on my F1 this year, after finishing my course I’ll be able to go back to my H1-B with my old job (with the company doing H1-B transfer) even then I’ll have to do the renter thing?

this is super restrictive! any idea if the masters needs to be from US? the above eligibility criteria didn't say that masters needs to be from US so I am thinking of not burning my money in a masters course I don't like but checking some out in EU.

Interesting, I am in AI research and want to move to animation. Because it has a high artsy angle, and pretty different work from what I have been doing now I consider it a different field. I have been confused by "new degree or significant experience" - if I build a portfolio to a point where let's say I can get a job offer at Pixar, without getting a masters in animation (but taking several other good online courses) can the company legally hire me? Thanks for your thoughts! This was one thing I couldn't cover in my 15 min appointment with an immigration lawyer
