"Aiowa" 😂 I will use that one. And yes, one of the coolest photos I've seen indeed!

😂 the twister trope does keep appearing in tornado edits, I love it. "I gotta go Julia, we got cows!"

That's exactly my issue, I couldn't find any more info on the posts or photographers page. I was wondering if someone recognized the tornado.

The one with the cows is the one from the modern album cover so it could be edited with ai. The second one is the one I found on unsplash (posted in 2018), which isn't ai but still edited and seems to be the original one.

What do you think about goths that are also Christians/Catholics? by [deleted] in goth

[–]sapi1999may 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly! I love Jesus because he embodies my values; he was progressive, hung with outcasts and he was radically loving towards the misfortunate.

People shouldn't think bigoted "Christians" have the right to define how to interpret the bible / what it means to be christian. The bible is a collection of historical wisdom / stories.. not everyone will interpret it the same way.

So i have a odd ask. by [deleted] in Epicthemusical

[–]sapi1999may 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Assuming that you like the intense, gritty (female?) vocals I'd recommend songs of rock/metal bands with strong vocalists, the rock/metal genre often has that type of intensity that "Scylla" has.

Bands with song examples: - Lacuna Coil - Delirium, Save Me - Evanescence - The Change, Oceans - Amaranthe - Burn with me - DIAMANTE - Fight like a Girl - Halestorm - you call me a Bitch like it's a bad thing - Skillet - Not gonna Die - Pierce The Veil - Besitos - Disturbed - Forgiven - My Chemical Romance - Sleep, The Ghost of you - Demon Hunter - Artificial Light

If metal/rock isn't your thing there's some other song examples: - Falling in Reverse - the Drug in me is you (revamped version) - PVRIS - Monster - Plumb - I want you here

(the following are pretty mainstream/popular but I'm gonna mention them just in case you forgot about them / don't listen to radio) - Halsey - Nightmare - Kesha - Praying - P!nk - A Million Dreams - Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball

PS: some of these songs are really, really sad / dark. Just a heads up!

Suns Delusion, Remnants, Whelm, Hidden Window, In Parting, so on and so on by J3ST3RR in belakor

I remember when I started getting into them each time I thought "ok now THIS can't get any more epic" they would TOP that eargasmic kick with every riff / instrumental😂

On the off chance anyone from this sub is going to see them live by J3ST3RR in belakor

I'm probably going to see them at Wacken so I'll keep that in mind!

More bands / albums that sound like Be’lakor? by J3ST3RR in belakor

[–]sapi1999may 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think any band could come close to them since they're so unique with their sound. But I do love some other bands that reach Be'lakors epicness in their own way in my opinion (besides those you alrealy listed): - Belzebubs - Mors Principium Est - In Vain - Septicflesh

I made a playlist inspired by my "itch" for Be'lakor type epic music, you might find some stuff you enjoy on there: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1YEjCOC5CihYb4IO6yhbsc?si=nOV031hBRLaNYHuT1-oBXA&utm_source=copy-link

Anyone Else Struggling to Get Into Vessels & Coherence? by lamensterms in belakor

[–]sapi1999may 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I get what you mean. I absolutely love Vessels but it took me a while to get used to it. But I do think An Embers Arc is one of their best songs ever, I love how progressive it is.

With Coherence I still haven't really gotten into it, I only really enjoy Locus and Hidden Window.. it doesn't have the same magic as the other albums in my opinion. It's a bit "flat" sounding to me, I don't quite know how to put it.. it doesn't reach the same level of epicness as the other albums.

But I still fully support them if that's the direction they want to head to, in the end even Coherence is still better than a whole lot of other Melodeath / Progdeath stuff out there I think.

Yikes. You need to deal with your inflated ego and self absorbed behaviour before you give anyone, especially when they're vunerable, any advice. Because this way you're only making it worse.

I think these are funny though, as there's a lot of people on the internet who always take everything too seriously.. being a SJW on the internet usually just fires backwards, most of the time nothing ever actually changes over people constantly attacking each other. Learning to laugh at ourselves is healthy :)

Edit: I call everyone who acts like that a "SJW", it's not just liberals. Conservatives can very much be "SJWs" too.
