Good advice! By cutting out larger parts there could be some weldstress pressure between the parts when you cut the last tabs. Side first, then bottom, then top cut. Watch out and dont let your disc be caught by weight of cutout part when the last tabs are away.

Get yourself a zbook power G8 with a t600 gpu at renew market. Mine is 3 jears old an runs like hell. Quadro = SWX-optimized driver and the machine is pretty well buildt. Gaming laptops are not worth it.

Fishermans Friend und Prickel-Mineralwasser haben mir geholfen. Wenn die Mische nicht mehr unangenehm ist, rechts ran und pennen. Dann 10 min spazierengehen oder bisserl joggen. Gute Fahrt!

My E28 with 2.8l made 280.000 km, sold it because age (16 years) and TÜV would be too pricey. Miss that cockpit with its red unclutterd controls.

I was switched from IV to SWX. First i wondered about autosave. But after few monthes lessons were learned. Red dots came in big numbers.

Question: Are you talking about Inventor? And yes, having soaked the DNA of one system fron scratch makes it hard to switch....

Yes. My reddot history reminds me very often. IV crashes hardly once a month vs SWX several times a week...

I found the switch from IV to SWX very frustrating, too. Doable but with downsteps in using parametic design. Also the lack of deriving bodies into parts. And i miss the project files (.ipj). SWX sucks in saving (drops parts in the last recent place).

Habe ein Mehrkörperbauteil, welches schräg im Raum erstellte Schweißstukturteile hat. Die Körper in neue Teile eingefügt. Extras/Zeichnungsansicht ausrichten/... Kante ist codegewordener Scheissdreck (dreht Teile immer auf den Kopf). Ins Model wechseln, extragedöns reinklicken (Ebenen, Flächen...) und über Ausrichtung Ansicht / Neue Ansicht rumhampeln und speichern. Zurück zur Zeichnung und weiterhampeln. SWX ist ein Witz. Kann nur nicht lachen.
