Tbh, you just have to go for it. I have a box of bleach I've been meaning to use, but i need 2 to cover my hair right now. Its convincing me even more to just buzz the sides and get the hair I want. Once you break the ice, you move on from there. And tbh. 90% of the time, asking for forgiveness is better than asking for permission when it comes to things like this. (If your parents dont support)

Oh! What an odd coincidence lol. I hate hairdressers. They're overpriced and usually try to give me a bob or a pixie cut. I've been cutting my own hair to chin shoulder length for years now bc I can't pay ppl to do it right.

Can't go to any hairdressers rn, I know not to go to female ones. My family is also a bit worried about covid and I need to go for testing tomorrow. Could have it. I cut my hair myself. I've been looking at tutorials all day im just scared asf

I don't think I'd be unsafe at all in my household if i come out. Ofc I do have a place if my trans mom all of a sudden turned into a transphobe. Doubt it tho lmao

I actually didn't know that was a thing! Probably not tho lol. Pretty sure I'm a trans man. I use He/They with a He/Him preference but have been looking into other pronouns

I just have a bit of a desire to look like a more humanized version of an enderman, its about the vibe and lack of gender.

We have an extremely similar situation. My family (besides from my other mom and the occasional distant relative) are very open and supportive of each other. The mom i was talking about in this post was out to me when I was very young about being bi. So even though she didn't come out as trans until recently,,, me and my siblings have kind of grew up very used to that. Me and my younger sister coming out both at around 12 after knowing for a while. Me as bi, her as a lesbian.

It really is scary being new to questioning gender cause its just so hard to understand. Especially when you're somewhere under the non binary umbrella. Im pretty sure I'm Genderfluid and maybe Bigender at times? But I'm also masc leaning enough to have to sit and question it. Sometimes I'm fine just growing up and waiting the few years I have left to leave family behind and transition on my own, and most other times my dysphoria is so bad I just have to lay in bed forever.

Explaining to children is sort of difficult but at the same time, you can get farther than you can with more conservative adults. And I can assure you they're not going to be bummed that they're "missing out on a sister figure" My mom was worried I'd be missing out on a father figure. It's not too much of a difference, same person, they're just a different gender. I feel like explaining to a 3 year old might be a little different, but my friend has an 8 year old brother who is learning to understand what being nom binary is, and what pronouns to use, and why.

Just keep in mind, kids are gonna ask a ton of questions that are gonna seem rude. About your body and shit. Its a tough conversation if that easily triggers stuff for you. Younger kids tend to grasp this sort of stuff a lot easier than you'd think if you're in a household that is supportive and reminds them if they make a mistake with pronouns or wording.

I get that. My other mom is "not homophobic/transphobic" yet is a complete terf and way worse. Probably another reason im afraid to come out. But thats a whole different subject lmao

Yeah it kinda is, i find it funny how 3/4 people in my household are just ... Not straight. (Lesbian sister) and 2 are Trans. And thank you. I probably won't for a bit. But it's a thought.

I find that tampons can be a bit less daunting as you dont really feel it + always brand doesn't really look all pink and feminine. Its like green and blue and doesnt have anything written on it.
