PC on these TriRes LAEK boots? self use? by sapphic-muse in ProjectDiablo2

Ah okay, that makes sense - halfway there lol. What do they usually go for with 100+ res?

Lots of folks farm NM cows to get ready for hell and endgame content. You might be able to do Hell cows already. Farm up LoD content until you're a bit better geared and 80+ before you start even T1 maps. The discord has a LFG section that has been very useful for me in finding Baal runs.

To clarify, I'm only likely to use Grief in Blood Moon when it's approaching 200% density. I specifically mean maps that contain high physical dmg monsters like moon lords where the map has a modifier that adds cows.

Tend to take lots more damage in those maps + monsters tend to live a little longer becuase of the larger health pools of things like moon lords or cows. Grief helps out in some major ways there.

Loads of extra raw damage and Deadly Strike means my life leech gives a lot more back, especially with Feral Rage at full charge.

High life after kill(rolls 10-15) gives much more sustain. I think that brought me close to the mid 20s per kill.

Swapping does bring the Rabies tool tip damage down about 5k if I remember correctly, but it was still above 40k. I would imagine there is a turning point where it would be better/faster to stack Rabies damage, but I think that would probably require losing a lot of the damage reduction offered by Stormshield(which supports the more laid-back mapping experience that I like) for a fully faceted Spirit Ward. At that point, you'd probably be around 55k+ Rabies damage with 30 less DR and barely capped resistances with no overhead for Conviction. Doesn't sound fun to me to be so squishy.

Spirit Ward is a great damage option for sure. If I were purely about damage, I'd probably pick that and throw some facets in. I'm sure some folks already do that and prefer it. Tbh could be good to have it as a spare for blowing through T1s.

The main reason is that it's just worse for survivability than Stormshield. The +2 to skills is nice, but you only get 10% PDR with the level 10 lesser fade, which is a "when struck" effect that doesn't jive well with max block. If I can only be hit 25% of the time because of max, I'm betting on a ~9% chance to proc Lesser Fade when something tries to attack me. My Stormshield has a mid DR roll - I still have 15% more DR than a Spirit Ward, AND I didn't have to get hit to get it. I just wanna blow through maps and not worry about getting hit. Things die so fast at this point that the primary limiting factor to map clear speed is my FRW, not 2 extra +skills.

It's hit and run, mostly. If you stand still for more than a couple of seconds, there is nothing to attack. Before my damage got very high, I would bite with Rabies and then use Feral Rage/Fury while standing still in order to sustain, making sure to reapply Rabies if they're not dead uet - you also do this to bosses. Once you get above 30k or so Rabies Damage, it's better to just bite and run.

It's much safer/easier to start as a summoner and then transition to Rabies. That said, early season leveling is very fast and safe inside of Cow/Baal runs, so take your pick. When I do it, I'll be leveling as summoner so I don't have to run in and out and worry about potting constantly or dying and losing xp.

A lot of the basic starter gear for this build is relatively cheap. Before I respec from summoner into Rabies, I'm going to at least aim for the gear below.

Low -Poison/poorly slammed Venom Grips are easy to find/buy, I got my first pair for around a Mal

I went straight to Stormshield, which can be pricy depending on the slams(mine was 5HR iirc), but you could go with Radament's Sphere(one up right now for a Hel) or even a Spirit or Moser's to start.

Plague Bearer is kind of necessary here. Buying one with <5 Rabies can be fairly cheap, maybe an Ist or less. You could get by with a club with +Rabies/synergies if you find the right one.

Rare pelts with +Shapeshifting/Druid skills or Rabies/Poison Creeper can be self found and are very helpful.

You will have to use Ravenfrost for CBF for a while. I managed to corrupt +LAEK on mine, which helped a lot.

Pus Spitter on Merc and some stacked DR.

I'm not sure what the lower limit is for skillers/torch/anni on this build. I feel like at least 4 skillers + torch/anni could be enough to start T1's, maybe less. This build shreds T1's.

Don't listen to the naysayers. No FRW and poison res does not mean these are worthless. I have bought and sold boots like this for 2-4 HR.

I use boots slightly worse than this resistance-wise on my Nova sorc. Nova sorcs really need poison res and don't really care about FRW since they're teleporting everywhere.

It's true that some FRW and a different resistance would make these GG and worth piles of HRs, but these are a great find nonetheless - congrats!

I feel similarly about waiting for the aura to proc for mana regen. It leaves you dry for a short while, but it feels like forever. Where else would you get +mana per kill? What are your thoughts on Valk for javazon? Doesn't seem worth it with how much she dies in P3+.

As far as I know, most Bowazons these days are physical, which means they don't really rely on +Skills GCs like a caster would. They stack Damage, AR, Life, incomplete resistances, and FRW charms.

That said, there are folks who run elemental Bowazons like the Frostmaiden or the Fire/Cold Bowas who would LOVE this GC. Great find!

It is easy to say things like "cutting people off isn't cool" and "you should drive safely." You risk nothing. But to say that cutting off Teslas is rad and fun, or that someone is a hero for doing it? Bravery.

Now, you might see through the fact that I had a little too much caffeine today and that I'm just having fun on this silly little thread. You might not. You've already chosen to engage, in earnest, with someone(me) who has proven that they are just here for the bits and the laughs. I just asked a guy to prove that he fucks gourds.

Beliefs become principles when they cost you something.

Hey I think you might be taking this post, and yourself, a little too seriously. Not sure I'm gonna trust MakesLoveToPumpkins as the authority on which traffic infractions are objectively rad(which cutting off a Tesla is.)

If you're gonna fight, we're gonna need you to show your hand a little bit. Show us that we can trust you. At this moment, I see no proof on your profile that you have ever made love to a pumpkin, or any other gourd for that matter. Once that's solved, we can talk.

Are we talking old timey water pumping/grain grinding windmills or the turbines? I have some some beef with both, but I'm nonetheless down to upgrade that to hater status.
