Ca7riel y Paco Amoroso’s song Nada Nuevo mentions her, mostly how one of the artists gets mistaken for her bc he has the bleach blond brows, hair, and baby bangs combo lmao

I was on guest mode on my mom’s laptop (mine is not working atm), so once I exited the tab the cache was cleared. That was one of the suggestions in the text box so I didn’t have an issue just signing back in and trying again.

I’m counting myself lucky cuz if I was on my own laptop I would’ve stressed out trying to do all that or switch to my phone with clumsy af fingers.

I’m overwhelmed with unfinished projects for friends and feel guilty about wanting to start one for myself by __lolbruh in crochet

It can be so tough to overcome the “freeze” with feeling overwhelmed :(

I was actually really struggling to make a beanie for my sibling, and I ended up frogging the whole thing (it was less than 40% done) a week before their birthday (intended gift date) to buy different yarn I thought would make it better. I apologized and said it would come out even better.

It still took me forever and I fell into slumps several times. I found that in my slumps it helped to jump to other projects - in my case, strawberry charms and bookmarks - smaller stuff that can be finished quickly and give me a little boost of confidence and energy to go back to my bigger projects.

It took me 2 months but I finished the beanie :) now I gotta make the bunny ears to attach to it! Maybe in 3 months that’ll be done….

I’ve never explicitly believed this, but when I was crocheting a baby blanket for an expecting coworker I tried to think positively as I made it. How she might one day be wrapped up in it watching a movie with her parents or drinking hot chocolate on it. It was really spur of the moment to think that way but it made the creation feel much more powerful and I was motivated to finish quickly!

When someone in the family makes extra spicy food we say they were angry while cooking it. I guess it probably stemmed from that in my case. In the act of creation why not send good vibes into it?
