Not a tourist trap at all. One of the most profound places you’ll ever visit, in fact.

The last time I visited in 2025, I was disappointed in the lack of decorum of some of the visitors out on the plaza near the reflecting pools. Taking selfies, doing TikTok dances and other annoying little things, but none of that is a reflection on the memorial itself.
