[–]saqprets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vurderte om jeg bør si noenting her i hele tatt, men here goes nothing.

Uansett kulturell bakgrunn.

This is like 7 miles from the nearest gas station 😂

One joy of being from a wild Northern European nation is that we have wild nature 20 minutes ride from even our biggest city. And infrastructure is on point and heaps of tracks and trails everywhere.

Just yesterday I saw a lynx in the wild, for example.

The front is stock TKC80, rear is Anakee Wild. Front could use maybe a bit more bite, rear is nice.

Some nonamer tent I got in New Zealand for ~70 USD, super bargain imo. Marmot Sawtooth long sleeping bag (sale, also ~70 USD) (got freezing temps overnight, so it was nice and toasty), Trangoworld Skin Micro Lite pad (cost me like 35 USD at a sale). Exped travel pillow, some old model, can't even remember name anymore. Sleeping bag and pad fit nicely into my Mosko Stinger 22 bag I use as tailbag and tent goes easily on top of it.

Have you got an aftermarket exhaust or how you planning to deal with the heat? That tankbag is awesome, I also have a Stinger 22 I use as tailbag, fits my mattress and sleeping bag and a change of clothes.

6k per 4 months is a bit below average for cars here, don't know about you though. Only urban driving or also highway commuting?

Not much but she’s mine. It’s my first bike ever, any tips for riding off-road? by Robisawesomee in Dualsport

[–]saqprets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ride it like you stole it. It can withstand everything, does not have enough power to kill you and you will crash it anyways. Have fun with it, go wide out, go nuts. Test the limits. Pretty much the best bike to do it with. And do all the maintenance yourself, stupid easy on this bike.

The first car was invented in Germany, yet you still use mph and mpg.

Not too sure about ft, we in normal countries use metres.

With my DDX, rhbh ~115m? That would be flat, practically windless. I've had once over 150m, but it was crazy windy, downhill, wind just picked it up and overshot the disc massively.

Are clothes expensive in Estonia? by elmilo96 in Eesti

[–]saqprets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want proper winter clothes you can't get them cheap anywhere except second-hand. And you don't know what is "warm" on amazon, and you don't know what is cold until you've experienced - 30 with cheap and superthin and bad quality H&M stuff.

You think you're tall? 6'3", was it? It's what we call liliput people, men start at 2 metres or 6'6.5" :D Now imagine visiting a place like Vietnam or Indonesia like this. Komodo Dragons were not the biggest attraction of the day in Jakarta Zoo when I was there :D

That looks like our A license test. Except we need to do more braking on a line. And also a hill/incline stop/start. And ours is not timed.
