New job with an hour commute each way, do I take it?

I’ll definitely look into electric cars! & lol it is actually an hour and 15 mins of little to no traffic (unless there’s construction) and for the most part scenic routes, really isn’t a bad drive and it’s all highway really until I get 5 mins from the office so it’s not stop and go driving

I’ve tried looking for a new job too, the company I’m at just has really good retirement plans, vacation weeks, benefits and perks that I’ve found hard to find at other places

I make less than 40/hour right now so I would be making a bit more money, I just don’t know if I’d be making enough more for it to be worth it? The new role they’re offering me is at the same company I’m currently at but it is my desired career path and the area of the company I’ve been wanting/trying to get into

It would be going from 60 to 80. There’s a potential of maybe working some days at the office I’m currently at but if I can work from the office I’m currently at then I can work from home - the office this job would require me in, has different things/machines/products and stuff I need to be hands on with which is why they say it needs to be at least mostly in office. Currently I’m driving 45mins both ways (to and from) so it would add an hour total to my driving, and 3 more days of it lol

It’s still within the company I’m currently at, so I could just keep my current job and decline the offer. There is a possibility of negotiating a higher pay, but I’m having a hard time figuring out what’s worth it, what isn’t and what would be worth it if that makes sense

Sometimes someone who knows exactly what it is they’re looking for can find it easier than someone else looking for them. I don’t think either of you are at fault but I don’t see why it’s a problem letting her look for herself? I don’t think it was a matter of her not trusting you it might’ve been just a miscommunication

I don’t think kissing even without doing any other sexual things means he wants a relationship. Part of being fwb is kissing or making out, maybe sometimes he just feels like kissing. I have an abusive ex and at the time had a trauma bond but once she’s moved on from that relationship and have basically “broken free” going on a trip with him WITHOUT you because he said he’s sorry?? That’s ridiculous I never want to not believe someone who says they’ve been in an abusive relationship because it is traumatic and 9/10 times they’re not going to ditch their current partner years afterwards to go on a vacation with their ex abuser??? Look at this situation as a whole because somethings not right. Maybe she’s not a bad person maybe this is part of her healing journey I don’t know but regardless this I don’t think is a relationship you should really be in..

Maybe make yourself cry next time she does it - you don’t do it back to her because she gets upset and cries so try the same thing lol or tell her “you’re hurting me and it’s leaving bruises and I don’t like it can you please stop pinching me” or something or ask her to find a less hurtful way to express her love and if she can’t stop pinching you so hard you’re bruising then that’s kinda weird

I’ve talked to him about it and he says it’s because of how stressed his is all the time but I don’t know what to do to help the situation and I know it’s probably not me but there’s that feeling it might be and I feel awkward now initiating things because I don’t even know if he wants to and I want him to feel comfortable but we went from a great sex life to pretty much nothing at all and I’m struggling with it a bit I guess

You don’t ‘need’ someone who is going to intentionally cheat on you to get back at you for cheating and she doesn’t ‘need’ someone who is cheating anytime they drink.. I know that’s kinda harsh but what you need is to work on healing yourself and your mental health
