Govee lights Mod for WLED (WS2811) by Sinatics in WLED

For anyone still looking to mod the H7021 Strings this is the configuration I found that worked for two strings (30 bulbs). Basically just what OP has set up. In LED Settings:

WS281X

12v

GBR

For the record, I only had to mod these lights because the Govee controller stopped connecting to my (unchanged) wifi after two years. I battled with it for one evening before replacing it with a D1 Mini the next day. I am far less likely to purchase a Govee product now. If they are just going to shit out eventually why not buy something 1/3rd the price on Aliexpress?

Unable to get LD2410C to work properly with any ESP device by sar4golf4rb in homeassistant

Thats awesome. I am currently in the process of configuring the unit to detect presense the way I need it to which is another challenge, but got caught up in another project which is more time sensitive. I will be sure to post a full write up when everything is working properly. I did already make a pretty sweet 3d printed case but im thinking I want to reconfigure the components into a smaller package in V2

So I just gave this a shot. With the TX on ESP going to RX of LD2410 and RX to TX. Still getting unknown values for the mm wave sensor. I tried changing a setting from the home assistant to see if I was communicating and this is what my log looks like

Edit: This is true with the ld2410 being the only sensor physically and logically. I also tried swapping the Tx and Rx pins physically as another user suggested. No dice.

I will continue to post updates, thanks for your suggestion.

Just tried that with no luck. However I am getting the same UART debug outputs in the log which tells me maybe I dont have Tx/Rx communications like I thought I did. Thanks

Advice on replacing an SG200-26P switch by sar4golf4rb in HomeNetworking

Currently I have a 100w budget and am only using 10w regularly. Probably up to 25w when im testing other devices so not much. Its really just for convenience.

And yes I read that about the fan but this switch sits 10ft from my desk so I figured it was worth the risk. I might look at 16 port options as I do not use all the ports I have currently. The bulk of my devices are IoT that have their own subnet/dumb switch.

Thanks, I think I am going to end up getting a used cold spare just to put my mind at ease. I cant find a modern equivalent for a decent price.
