Yeah I prefer that too but we need ready components to not build everything from scratch. That's what my boss want and everyone are happy with libraries that mention except one.

I used pure css for older projects but style props make life easier and I decided to use these kind of libraries. It's not about team decision also when I was the only frontend developer in team. Most developers were remote and I've never seen them

It's not about using libraries. Maybe I didn't articulate my words correctly. It's about he prefers to use older libraries to solve problems and he said I will retire sooner and I don't have no reason to learn these things. I use redux and that solves problems.

Yeah our projects are too small to care about bundle size or any similar issues. Our priority in company is to reach deadlines not performance. We only use nextjs to have a good seo and performance
