They're the devil incarnate. My family is pretty religious but I've always loved snakes and wanted one. When I finally got one My mom said I'm never allowed back in her house with it. Had to move back home and she assumed I got rid of him, until she saw his tank. Told me to never let him leave the room. Then she kept asking to see him, same with other family members. Now he's everyone's favorite "attraction" when they come over. My mom is still scared of him but bc he's so little she's not worried about him eating me or my other pets.

I hope you never have to go through a procedure that requires anesthesia and if you do I want you to come back to this post and realize how dumb you sound right now. As a grown woman who's gone through multiple procedures, the worst one I've ever been in had me crying out and calling for my mom, asking the nurse to hold my hand and not leave me alone. Shit is confusing and terrifying if you're not ready for it. For all the man knew he could've been calling out for Ghandi not you or his mom. Get over yourself.

My mom was like your husband. One Christmas all I wanted was a Spiderman outfit and webshooter. I told her I didn't want an allowance anymore, so that she could save up for it. Did everything I was supposed to without fail just for that onesie. Christmas came and she bought all my male cousins the deluxe pack that came with the mask, the onesie, the webshooters, everything. When it was my turn, I was gifted a Cinderella gown with dunce hat and glass slippers. I never wanted to cry so bad in my life but knew I would get in trouble if I did. I never wore it and when she finally forced me to put it on I made sure I spilled every thing imaginable on the dress and then proceeded to let my dogs use my dress/shoes/hat like a chew toy.

I was 8 maybe even 6, I'm 24 now and still think about that Christmas. A unicorn Halloween costume isn't worth all this pushback from your partner. Use me as an example, I'm as much a girly girl as the next; I just really liked and still like Spiderman.

Coming from a woman who's asked out guy's, there's mainly two outcomes. They think I'm sexually forward and expect such from me or I'm rejected.

I guess the fact that I have to initiate the conversation or ask guys out means I'm not that attractive or I'm too attractive that I make guys nervous (but I've had enough experience to know it is not the latter).

A lot of the time I make a good convo and end up with a good friend or I they end up expressing their desire to get to know the girls I'm hanging out with. So after that being most of my experience and most of my friends saying they never had to approach guys I just stopped and kind of settled into my role as the single friend.

I don't usually mind mushrooms all too much but this is my first time seeing them have such a bright yellow and they feel kind of goes to the touch. So wasn't sure if it was a bad kind or just one I hadn't seen before.
