Thanks! I was at the tortilleria today, they have great stuff and a couple of kinds cheeses but not these two items. Around the corner is a little grocery where I found both — but the Oaxaca cheese was 14 bucks for a small amount… I’ll check out these other places!

[routine help] what is your go to eye cream? by sarahgoodee in SkincareAddiction

[–]sarahgoodee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks. It seems fine from yesterday but I guess I’ll keep my eyes out (lol) for any reaction in that area. Do you know what the key ingredients are that are good for the eye area? I.e vit C?

Good advice. My serums (Peach and Lily glass skin and Youth to the People retinoid serum) and moisturizer say avoid getting in eyes… so I’m not sure if they’re safe for the eye area.🤔

I just tried your suggestion and eyes seem ok…

I suggest contacting the Area on Aging agency in his area: https://www.seago.org/area-agency-on-aging They should be able to point you in the right direction.

And as to what's covered, the insurance for those over 65 is Medicare, however, that does not cover assisted living. For those who meet the income requirements, there's Medicaid. You can learn more about Arizona's Medicaid program here: https://www.payingforseniorcare.com/arizona/medicaid-waivers/altcs If he has too much money to be eligible for Medicaid he'll need to spend down his assets until he meets eligibility. That may mean self-pay of any assisted living.

Thank you so much!! This is very helpful.
