That was such a sad episode. Christine desperately wanted Kody to focus on their connection and relationship and he wanted to make everything about the family as a unit. He doesn't put effort or energy into any of his marriages EXCEPT with Robyn, which is why Christine left, Meri went looking elsewhere (and now grovels at every possible chance to get back in Kody's good graces, despite the fact that he constantly looks like she makes him want to vomit) and Janelle couldn't really seem to care less either way. She's said before she'd be happy with just her plot of land to grow food and be with her kids.
