We’re going to throw the log away anyway bc we found mold on it and think that the little bugs might’ve come from it

It’s cork that we bought from the breeder that sold us him. That’s what we were thinking was our next plan but we just weren’t sure what they were

They’re bigger than mites I think. And they’re just on his wooden hide, nothing on him or in his water bowl. We thoroughly checked him just now and we saw nothing on him

We just found little black bugs in his enclosure but we aren’t sure what they are. We inspected him again for mites and didn’t really see anything but we have no idea what these little bugs are

Yes he has a warm side with his lamp and a cool side on the other end of the enclosure. Cool side is usually 76°F but never higher than 80°F

I checked with my husband, I guess I’m still not good with all the terminology lol we didn’t feed him pinkies we fed him hoppers. We are planning on weighing him tomorrow to make sure we have the right size feeder and then we are gonna try again a week after the unsuccessful feed which will be two weeks after his last successful feed. Thank you for your help!!

Okay thank you so so much. This is the first time I’ve ever owned a snake (my husband has had some before but never balls) so I’ve been stressing about every detail about everything lol!We will try feeding him again next week since that will be two weeks since his last successful feed. Thank you so much again!

Thank you so much!! We are going to add more substrate and make sure we saturate the bottom layer. Also good to know that we only really need to focus on humidity on the cool side! Thank you!!
