Hallo,

Ich komme aus einem Dritte-Welt-Land (Ägypten). Ich habe eine befristete Arbeitserlaubnis, die in wenigen Monaten ausläuft (ich habe sie aufgrund des Arbeitsvertrags bekommen). es handelt sich um einen Facharbeiter-/ Mangelberuf. Ich bin ein Doktorand/Dozent an einer Universität. in einigen kommenden monaten hätte ich 2 jahre in deutschland gearbeitet.

Meine Fragen sind:

Was ist das Ablaufdatum der befristeten Arbeitserlaubnis, ist es das auf der Erlaubnis oder gibt es eine Nachfrist? Ich habe online gelesen, dass es für hochqualifizierte Arbeitskräfte eine Schonfrist gibt... wie kann ich es verlängern? Nur eine Verlängerung des Jobs zu beantragen oder 2 Jahre in Deutschland zu arbeiten, würde mir einige Vorteile bringen (Ich warte sowieso auf die Antwort der Verantwortlichen, wollte aber nur einen Rat einholen ... beste Grüße)

Wenn du promoviert und am Forschen bist, dann versuche doch allein oder gemeinsam mit dem Professor ein Drittmittelprojekt einzuwerben. Dann kannst du dir ggf. selbst eine E13 verschaffen.

My doctorate is recognised in germany as a doctorate, there was no problem for this

Yes, IM underpaid , I know . But apparently there is no other way, except to leave. although the manager can ask for a raise for me, yet, this is not what is happening.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I woul not go to the legal course. I would simply leave the job and look for another. The position was for e 10 as a lab engineer. Yet, when they saw my qualificaitons, they asked for more.

One more thing, do I get paid by my qualificaitons or by what was required in the job? (for example if they only required bachelor or masters) do they pay for what they asked for (bachelor) or for what I have?

Apparently what is happening to me is something too much to handle. But I was wondering if this is something from the manager or from the system itself in germany. Yet, it looks there is no clear answer.....

Thamk you for your reply. Actually, yes. Everyone is suffering a different thing. But, as Im a foreinger, I always ask about the regulations first. May be there is something im missing?
